These RUCKAE vacuum sealer bags work fine with my FoodSaver unit. I just cut the length I need, seal one end shut, and then insert my produce. In the example in my pictures, I was using the bags to vacuum seal cooked tomatoes. Food with lots of liquid need to be frozen first before putting in the vacuum bag or the machine will suck out all the liquid. I put my cooked tomatoes in the freezer in small containers overnight, and then pop them out the next day and insert into the vacuum bag.

Great value - also being able to determine the length of the bag is a huge plus. I prefer these rolls to some of the other bags that I end up having to cut to create the fit I need. Easy to use, roll up, and store.

I got these bags mainly for sous vide in which the ability to remove air is important because the food inside must be submerged to cook properly. I found that these performed in an average way in that meat I put in them sometimes lost some of the vacuum packing and some air got in. This was the case even when the initial seal was perfectly air-free. I don't know why they would lose air except for an incomplete seal. I have had this issue with some other budget bags, but these aren't budget bags. On a per foot basis, they aren't the best value. I was able to align them well and seal them properly in my sealer so I'm not sure what issue was.

The price might be the cheapest, the quality is really good, very sturdy food grade bags. Glad I chose it.

Alla : Wet Aging or Sous Vide, No Problem!

Great set for a buck—two different sizes for NY Strip and Ribeye. I personally think it is a great set to have in your house for a beginner/intermediate cook. Thickness is excellent and on point, near .75mm. I did try wet aging for two months, and it held well with liquid staying inside and not leaking as well as I did try to cook a bad for 24 hours and no issues. The bags are not stretchable and have fantastic structure. The Seal gets well and sticks to each side with no problems. I am glad I purchased this set and would repurchase it for my outstanding dinners.

We freeze many foods and depend on reliable wrap. I have not used this yet but it appears to be sturdy for most foods we would freeze.

I’ve recently started to use a vacuum sealer and want a variety of bags for freezing items. I like that I can use these to choose the size for my needs. There are two rolls or two different sizes in this package. I had various items to freeze and used these two rolls to do it. I froze dinner rolls, pork tenderloins, and chicken tenders in the smaller size roll. I still have plenty left on the small roll to freeze more! I did a whole chicken in the larger size and it worked perfectly. And I have a lot left in that roll. I was able to easily write on the bags so I’ll know what I’m grabbing. These have a good thickness and definitely feel like they’ll protect the items. They’re a good value because I can cut as small or big to fit my needs instead of using a one size fits all. I have two different sealers and these worked easily in both of them.
