Although these bags are a bit smaller than I intended, they are great for us to portion out small meals. Unfortunately, they are a little too small for an 8oz or larger steak, but they are great for portioning out boneless chicken, pork and beef. We are recent empty-nesters so we no longer have a human disposal eating everything in the house, but we still like to cook. So these bags are great for portioning out sides for sous vide, or individual servings of chili. Any large batch item we cook we just subdivide date and throw in the freezer. Just making sure to rotate stock. Overall, this is a great bye. Just make sure you understand this is a small bag. If you’re needing something larger, I would recommend ordering a larger size.

Very convenient bags! I use these all the time. They are great for sealing small items, like cheese, veggies, fruit, for later. I also use them in the deli drawer for deli meats and cheeses. Perfect small size. Would buy again.

This was my first departure to an "after market" vacuum bag. My initial concern was the air extraction and sealing ability of the product. The bag passed both with "flying colours". My normal process in preparing a bag for use is to fold over about a 1/4 inch of the open end of the bag and press along the fold seam giving the bag a 45degree entry into the vacuum slot. The bag took this treatment with no issues. Would I buy again? Yes tho' it may take a few years to use the number of bags in the package.
