Answer: The same thing happened to mine. The squeeze and slide mechanism broke on my 9” flex blade. How do I replace this blade or mechanism.

Answer: We recommend our knives to be sharpened at a 20 to 25 degree angle. The kit does not come with a sharpening tool.

Answer: Yes it comes with 4 blades. Blades are very good. However, only one handle which has design flaw which breaks at the clip which hold the interchangeable knives in the handle....thus making use of any blades useless. I sent one back to Amazon and got replacement set. Same failure. I would not purchase until manufacturer announces a fix to this fatal flaw in their product. Tried calling mfctr but no response...so much for their warranty.
Answer: The saltwater kit comes with two blades but can store up to four blades. The Multi-Flex Interchangeable Blade Kit comes with four blades. This one is your best bet. You’ll be happy with this one.

Answer: No, but not needed either. Inside case has magnetic snap in rack system to store each blade with tip guards included. Just leave them in the case when not in use!

Answer: Replacement clips are not available. But if you put in a warranty claim on the Bubba website, we can get a replacement blade mailed out to you.

My husband is an avid fisherman & has developed a hobby of cold smoking fish. The only thing he ever complained about was his filet knife. The tang variant is perfect for fish, meat, vegetables & fruit. He loves the set & I love not having to pay $22 for 2 bagels with lox. The only complaint I have is the carrying case came scuffed & bent.

I like the set, but keep in mind that they are extremely sharp. I barley rubbed against one of the blades while placing another in its spot and cut the top of my finger pretty bad. Plus, the top of the storage container has a flimsy design. The outer top side is somewhat rubbery and bends down towards the knifes. You can't place equipment on top of it because it could effect the blades if not placed in their slots properly. More thought should have been placed in its design of the container in order to safeguard the knifes. Lastly, check out BABBA's warranty they only offer one to those sold by authorized dealers and eBay and Amazon are NOT considered an authorized dealers. So, you might have issues if you get a DOA set upon shipping. Plus, the Amazon site I bought it from did not offer free returns, just quick shipping, but at a higher price.

Didn’t last long! We purchased the Bubba knife in the spring and it quit yesterday with 47 lbs of fish to fillet. I liked the fact it was battery operated but didn’t know if it could handle that many fish at a time. Probably cleaned less than 100 lbs of fish this season. Sad I had high hopes for this knife.

A very nice set of knives, and a lot cheaper than having to buy four of the bubba blades with the different types of blades at about $50 apiece and the case they come in is a case to store all the blades and other items like your zip lock bags a sharpener and a glove if you need to so you can have everything you need in one case

They bubba blade products are to me one of a kind had the single 9 inch serrated and love it but the snappers sometime need a little smaller knife so this kit covers all bases.

Really like this set. Price is great and overall quality very good. Was disappointed in sharpness out of the box. Have used them twice and tried 3 of the blades. All of them are not nearly as sharp as expected. Requires too much force so cut through skin and meat. I will likely return.
