Is this knife going for everyday use as well or is it too flexible?

Answer: The knife is very sharp & flexible. We use this knife for filleting fish, skinning deer, processing meat and kitchen use. The blade is flexible enough to cut around the bone & sharp enough to slice but is not designed for an everyday carry like a pocket knife. The knife is an all-around water/field & process knife.

I think as long as it is used mainly for it's purpose it will be fine. I don't think it would be the best choice to slice potatoes for instance.

This knife is advertised as razor sharp but it’s far from it. I’ve not got to use it yet just received it yesterday but can tell by running my finger against the blade it doesn’t seem very sharp I will be cutting silver skin of deer today so will see how good it is I’ll change review after I’ve put it through the tests to either more stars or less depending on if it can get the job done
