is the material actaully silicone or is it the same material as a liner for a drawer?

Would these work for beef jerky?

Answer: Yes, I’ve used them for ground meat jerky (I have a jerky gun) and tomato slices. I wish I would of purchased them sooner, Before purchasing I struggled to get the tomatoes off my dehydrator.

I ordered these to add versatility when drying small leaf herbs. The center hole needed to be trimmed a little to fit around my Nesco dehydrator, but the screens sit well on the racks. The texture of the screen makes it a little difficult to remove some of the smaller herbs, like Thyme leaf bundles after they have dried. They do wash up well though and seem very durable. I would purchase them again.

These dehydrator sheets are very easy to clean. You might have to do a little trimming, depending on your dehydrator, but they are a pretty good fit for mine. They make dehydrating smaller things much easier and allow decent airflow.
