I bought this net knowing it was going to be a cheap net. I bought a 10 foot net to learn how to throw one of that size. I’m going to go over the entire net real quick and say the good and bads with it. I like that it comes with the thing that goes around your wrist. The rope is decent rope. The line is heavy and seems to be decent. My favorite thing about the net is the mesh it has a pretty good mesh that seems to be pretty durable. Now to the disappointing thing the weights are to spread out and not near heavy enough this makes it where you will never truly open it up all the way. Also hard to make it sink. I used this net in fowl river and mobile bay over the weekend caught a fair amount of bait with it.But I ended up throwing my 6 foot net (bought from academy) because my 6 foot net weighed almost twice as much so I could actually get to the bottom. So I feel like if you get this net in 7 foot it might be a pretty good net but they never gave the 10 foot a chance with how little weight they put on it.

It doesn’t open. I’ve made a living throwing castnets and I can not make this net open. Way to much mesh and not nearly enough led line. I would say don’t buy it because you would have put a 5 dollar bill in it just so you could give it away to someone!

the net took longer than expected to get here but when it did, It was just like you would expect and was ready to throw. be cautious because this net is so big it will trap many fish at a time ( I normally get about 10 at a time) but the holes in the net are just big enough for the 2 inch fish to get half way through and then get stuck... only throw if you plan on using all the fish, because there is no escape
