Amazon Customer : No back light

The only drawback is that it does not have a back light so it isnt easy to see the information on the screen at night. The screen does not light up. This should be rectified asap. However, apart from that it is a very good product.

Good display and easy to operate buttons ( including the one to change to Lbs and " zero " ( tare ) ). I use it to weigh my cat in the carrier then the carrier ( or vise versa ) to ascertain the weight ( I then subtract the the greater from the lessor of the two figures ) so I can determine the proper dose of medicine. The cat in the carrier was almost ( and often was over limit ) of the 10 lbs scale I processed. This scale maximum range is 165 lbs.

DannyBoy : Solid product but needs an option to turn off sound

Scale is accurate and consistent, sturdy construction for the price. Fits well in a cargo pocket. Overall a great value. Giving it four stars only because the speaker is annoyingly loud; it beeps with every button push. There is no function to turn off the sound. I took the back panel off and it was easy to twist the speaker off with a pair of pliers. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this product
