what is material handle?

Answer: Extruded handle

Answer: Made with aluminum. I love mine. Works great.

Can someone tell me what the hoop is made of ? I have had problems with lite aluminum hoop bending and breaking while sweeping through the water

Answer: don't know but alum. is likely

The clip that holds the net in place broke where can I get a replacement part?

Answer: Call Frabill. Frabill sent one free the first time. Had to pay for the next one. I adjusted the tension on the clip and made it less. Has not broke.

Is it any good, seriously?

Answer: It's a really good product. No complaints here.

Answer: So far the net has been good. It easily stores in the rod box and is sturdy enough to handle the bass I net.

Answer: I liked the folding part but the net itself is terrible. The hooks get caught in the net and have to be cut out. I replaced my net with a rubberised version and now i love the whole thing.

I love this net. It folds up nice and is always there when you need it but not taking up space on the deck.

Been waiting 5 weeks for a new locking pin, broke the second time I used it.Gonna throw it out!

Broke the first time I used it. When I tried to return via Amazon was told was outside of return window. Contacted Frabil and they tell me a few months to replace the clip. Customer service like this is disappointing and I just don't have time to deal with substandard service. I'll no longer buy Frabil products.

Haven’t used it on the water yet but it seems well built and ready to scoop up some flounder.

I got this toward the end of our fishing season, so haven't been able to put any big fish in it yet. I did use it ion a couple of 22 " and 23 " speckled trout. I fish from a 16 foot Mako, so I don't have lots of space. I like that this net folds out of the way. I hope it stands up to bigger fish.

I purchased this net 3 or 4 months ago and loved it. That is until the mechanism that locks the handle into place broke off in the handle. Now the handle just slides in and out making it hard to land your fish.

I was looking for something I could strap onto my backpack. This net worked great. I like the portability.
I initially thought it might be too small, but I was able to easily net several fish with the biggest being a 32 inch Steelhead on my trip to the Snake River yesterday. Although, if you are consistently catching big fish over 24 inches, you might want to consider the bigger model.

The material on the net worked without issues for releasing the fish. The netting did not snag on the fish, so I felt like I was able to release the fish without harm.

I'm happy with the quality so far after my first fishing trip.
