Will this land fish over 10 lbs and 24 inches?

Answer: I recently purchased the larger net 27x30 for large king salmon and its total worthless! I fish by myself and only due to this net being so heavy lost numerous fish..Don`t buy!

No directions for installing the batteries for the light. Any suggestions or just start pulling screws?

Answer: What light? It is a fishing net if you don't know how to use it maybe you shouldn't own one.

Answer: no

How deep is the net?

Answer: This net is surprisingly large and has a very deep well. It would be difficult for just about any fish to flop out of it. My son caught a very large 30 lb. black drum and hauled it in with no problem.

does the 18 X 21 net have a retractable handle ?

Answer: Yes it collapses as wide as the net is to make it about 18 inches shorted

Burk : Beautiful net with to short of handle for boats

Tried to use this net in the boat, frame and net are very heavy, therefore you must get your fish rite up to the side of the boat because you have to grasp the handle approximately 12 to 14 inches from end of pole so you can brace handle against forearm. In short handle way to short for boating. Very impressive upon receiving, beautiful net overall. May be perfect in different situations.
