This trap is decent and lightweight. Being collapsable takes up very little room.

However, there is no big main door to insert bait or remove catch. This is problematic, especially with crabs....

For those seeking a lightweight, minimal space trap to carry on a fishing cart or backpack this will do in a pinch.

Great value works well in the creek behind the house. Granddaughter love's catching the different species of fish from baby catfish, pickerel , sunfish turtles and many more. It's a good teaching tool

We took this with us to Gulf Shores to see what type of ocean life would crawl in. The length of the string could be improved and I had to add some larger sinker weights to keep it where we dropped it but it served its purpose for spring break.

Hey guy’s and Gal’s this fish trap crawfish trap minnow trap is By far the best I have used to trap crawfish and minnows and bluegill. I set this trap up in my creek behind my place within two hours I had 12 bluegill and a handful of minnows and three crawfish. Not bad for a test run of this trap.
It’s easy to set up if you can operate a umbrella you can open and close this trap
It has 7 hole for fish to enter trap the bottom hole is for your food bread or dog food I used dry dog food in a mess bag and hung it from the top of trap inside with a zip tie.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND if you have kids they will get a great Experience with this trap. Get them out in Gods Country and teach them the right way of things. GOD BLESS AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY

Used it once, trapped lots of bait fish but broke first time using it. This is actually the second one I’ve purchased in the last year because they don’t last. Netting is poor quality and tears from the frame from one use. Buy a minnow trap instead.

I have tried this product a couple times at various locations such as piers, lakes, and streams. I would set it up and put bait in the net. Even after hours of setup, the most fish I have trapped is three. I will continue to try this and see if I am just having bad luck or this is not effective. One thing I noticed is the top part of the umbrella keeps locking in a weird position and I have to straighten it out.

I thought this bait trap was bigger and thick but it's not thick so I'm hoping no crabs or fish tends to get aggressive to get out the trap because they will get out. I'm gonna put it to the test and give another review for sure.
