Does the rack fit the pg24stx model also?

Answer: I don't know why it wouldn't. They both have 19.5x22 inch racks. I would inquire with Camp Chef though. I don't know why they don't have it on the list.

Answer: I don’t think so. It was specially designed for campchef brand grills. You would have to review the dimensions to see if you grill can accommodate the height, width, and length.

Answer: I do not own the pg24wwss but the grilling area looks identical to my pg24se and it fits mine. In addition, CampChef.com shows it as an accessory to your grill at the bottom of the grills web page. 99.9% for positive.

Answer: 22" W x 18 3/4" L bottom, 22" x 17 3/4" middle, 22" x 16 1/4" top.

Answer: I do not have a pit boss 820 so I do not know.

What are the racks made of? Are they non-stick coated?

Answer: Not really. Just spray the racks with a none stick spray n works great. This works good if u dont smoke much. Its kinda small. But good for small stuff.

Answer: They appear to be made of stainless steel, it's a shiny chrome-like finish. I see no signs of a non-stick coating.

Answer: They are made of steel and chrome plated. The racks are not non stick but a little oil spray and they work fine

Answer: They are stainless steel and "cook ready" per the instructions (IE no need to wash them before the first use, but I did season them in the smoker first).

Answer: These are not stainless and will rust pretty bad if you don't clean and store them carefully. As for cleanup, I use an electric pressure washer and they cleanup quick and easy.

Answer: They work great but the only way I have ever cleaned them is in a tub with soap and water. I don’t know if they are dishwasher safe but I would wonder if the dishwasher would get them clean. Need a little elbow grease to corn them.

Answer: I'm sure they are however, they are quite large so I wash them with a sponge and hot soapy water in my sink. Make sure to lightly oil them before each use. It makes cleaning them much easier.

Answer: I believe they are dishwasher safe, but unfortunately they are way too big, and Interfere with the arm that spins and dispenses water. I use grill spray before I use them, then they clean up easily. I love the racks!

Answer: Our jerky rack is stabilized by the heavier original grill that's placed at the base of the rack.

Is this strong enough with just one rack installed to hold something reasonably heavy like a 9x13 pan of baked beans?

Answer: Absolutely. I do this frequently and I use a glass pyrex baking dish. These trays are quite strong. I can cook 2 or 3 baby backs, depending on size, on the main rack and a full dish of baked beans on the top rack.

Answer: I would think so, they are pretty hefty trays. It shouldn't have an issue with two cans of Bush Baked Beans size cans. Those are the bigger cans.

Answer: Yes - I often use one rack this way. Just make sure that the side supports are not movable, in my CC I crumple some tin foil to add between the smoker sides and the supports so the racks can't move side to side.

Will these work on a pit boss smoker?

Answer: I would be a surprised if they were compatible with the PitBoss. These were designed specifically for the Camp Chef and the fit perfectly. Just a guess since I don't have Pit Boss. I do know these two smokers have different smoking chamber designs. The Pit Boss has a barrel shape while the Camp Chef has a D shape.

Answer: These work on a 24 inch Camp Chef with a round top lid the warming rack becomes obsolete and the jerky rack sides are held in place by the existing bottom grill grates, no screws needed... The jerky racks are different sizes, larger bottom, next level up a bit smaller in depth and the next rack slightly smaller still, same width of 24 inches but the depth changes to accommodate the curvature of the round/barrel type lid. Hope this helps!

Answer: You can make it work with a little work, however, those end pieces fit tightly in the Camp Chef and that keeps everything together.

Does this fit in a Traeger?

Answer: I couldn't tell you about how it fits into Traeger but it sure fits perfectly in my Camp Chef pellet grill I love it

Answer: Doubtful, it takes up every inch of my camp chef, and pretty certain my buddy's traeger is completely different measurements along with being smaller

Answer: This fits in my Camp Chef SmokePro DLX PG24S . It measures 3.2 x 19.5 x 22.1 inches sujest you measure your grill to see if it fits

Do you mount the brackets permanently to the inside of the smoker?

Answer: They don’t permanently mount, but can be left in. You just can’t use the normal half rack if the brackets for the jerky rack is installed.

Answer: I have a DLX that it fits perfect in. The shape of the XT sure looks the same and the grate dimensions of both are the same 22x19.5 so I would think it would. It is a great product for sure. No regrets.

Answer: You would need to compare measurements for both grills to determine this, I don't know what the measurements are for yur grill... The Camp Chef size 24 inch grate fits this accessory... The jerky grates are graduated in size deepest on the bottom next up is smaller and the top one is smaller still to fit the curvature of the closed grill... Buy it try it no tools needed and go from there.

Answer: I have had no problems with mine I love my rack you fill them up and then slide them in plenty a room between each rack

Answer: yes i have one there are two sizes please get the 24" for your pg24wws if your wws is 36 inches get the 36 inch one

I would like to know if those jerky racks fit a Camp Chef magnum grill?

Answer: The magnum is a 24 inch so it should however it also has a top rack so I would call Camp Chef customer service to be sure. The jerky racks do not require drilling to install and may still fit the magnum after removing the upper rack. ENJOY!!

i have a treager jr. elite will this fit?

Answer: No. Traeger designed their grills with a completely round barrel body for their grills. This actually limits the internal cooking volume. If you look at the Camp Chef pellet grills they are mostly round, but the top back part is more square giving it a unique shape. As a result they have added a ton more internal cooking volume. These jerky racks are designed to utilize this addition internal volume.

Answer: Yes. I have the PG-24 (DLX) and they fit fine. I leave the side racks in all the time and remove the grates as needed when I smoke on the main grate.

When looking at compatibility, this product does not list the PG24MZG in its long list of Camp Chef grills. Bought it on chance since I really wanted to larger batches of jerky and YES it does fit. There's one caveat and its a small one. The kit comes with two side supports to slide in the grates and three different size grates. Don't use these. The PG24MZG grill already comes with supports installed and can accommodate all three grates at once. The lowest grate size on the lower shelf and doesn't really suspend any higher in the air but that doesn't matter to me. Having three levels of surface area is my main goal to get more surface area. Anyways, you may pay for some items you won't use but these items are ready to go out of the box.

I needed extra grill space for my RECTEQ 680 mainly to do beef jerky. I bought these racks a couple of years ago and actually dread using them. Why you ask? See all those little squares? They trap cooked meat and make cleaning these grills a paid in the you know what. Every square inch of these grills are meat trappers. And because of their size, they are hard to fit into any standard sink to wash.

Now, they do give you plenty of space, so if you don't mind spending 45 minutes to an hour scrubbing away on these, then maybe they're good.
