Answer: a cat would get seriously tangled in this net probably not the best option

Answer: First off it's probably not an approved use for this device. however if you were to string it across the alley way or hallway or some other and entrapment zone you could probably entangle the cat, although terrifying but you could probably catch her at night

Glad to have this addition in my survival kit. A gill net has many uses, besides catching fish while you're tending to your other survival needs. It takes assembly, but there are many ways you can configure a gill net in a body of water or in a stream/river using natural resources. Get creative, do some research, watch some videos, and you'll be glad you have a gill net in your kit.

Use it to catch birds, fish, small game, etc. Makes a great trap in the woods to chase animals into on game trails.

Gill net works great, its not the greatest, you get what you pay for, but it does the job and works great. I will definitely buy another one, just to keep handy, it is a one time use, unless you have time to untangle the fish from the whole net.
