What is the difference between the 160 8 the 160 10 160 12

Answer: I think it it’s the spool size, 160/8 meaning 160 yards of 8 lb test. 160/10 = 160 yards of 10 lb test. The 160/12 being the bigger real of them all. I ordered my wife the 160/10 and it’s perfect for redfish / speckled trout fishing.

Answer: You shouldn’t need more than 150 yards with about 25 feet of monofilament backing.

Answer: The 4000 series Lew’s is likely closest. I’ve got the 3000 series Lew’s and a 4000 Battle and the Lew’s is certainly smaller. There is a guide on the Lew’s website I believe.
