What type of line can go on this??
Answer: Any kind that you want to use. I have braid backing with Fluorocarbon main line . I run my braid through the holes in the spool and tie it off to keep it from spinning on the spool, this may not be right but it works, and it does not make the line spool up with a lump in it, and has no effect on the casting distance. I would not run any line that is less than 8# fluorocarbon in diameter, because it sometimes slips between the spool and the frame, depending on how loose you run your spool.

Answer: I am using copolymer 15 lb on this reel. I am planning on putting 20 lb braided on my second Soolf reel. I believe it will handle that easily.

Answer: It is about the same as any other bait caster, the magnetic side is easily accessible, but there are about 4to 5 screws you have to remove on the reel handle side.

I've tried a few different reels in this price range and so far about 50 to 60% of them are good solid reels, the other 40 to 50% are like this one poor quality parts being used. But for the price, sometimes it's worth taking a chance on some.

I have had several reels. Abu Garcia was always my go to. This is hands down the best reel I have casted. Smooth long cast, Smooth action .. not one backlash. Caught a 5 lb largemouth and reeled him in fighting with no problem! I highly recommend this reel!!

I was unable to setup the reel like directions and YouTube had shown. A friend with many years of bass fishing on bait casters simply said you got what you paid for. He couldn’t get it set up and the magnetic gizmo didn’t do anything he said. He didn’t even want it.

Lisa Currie : it is NOT interchangeable as advertised and comes as LEFT HANDED REEL! Don't be decieved!
So....I THOUGHT (since it was advertised this way) that the reel was able to change the handle around to make it right handed, but NOPE! All they give you is a diagram of all the pieces parts, but ZERO instructions on how to actually change the reel from right to left handed. Google searches turned up a big fat zero as well. ALL KINDS of tutorials about how to change left to right on a spin caster, but not a single one for the most complicated reel out there, the danged bait casters. Now I see most bait casters you CAN'T change from right to left. either it is or isn't. But this one said you can, but you can't, so don't be deceived!
