What the diameter of the mesh holes? My daughter might use it to catch tadpoles. Appreciate your response.

Answer: I think the holes are about a 1/4" (5or 6mm) at its widest diameter. I imagine that the tadpoles would be a little larger depending where you are hunting for the little amphibians. That I would say a good dual purpose net.

Answer: The holes are .25 inch in diameter.

Seems ok time will tell. I bought it for my son to use playing at the beach. It collapses easily for packing and doesn't take up much room.

I bought two of these nets so I figured I’d wait about a month before writing a review to really give it the benefit of the doubt. The first net broke after about 15-20 minutes, I caught two bullfrogs in it and that was enough for the net to break off the handle. The second net last a couple uses BUT the lock for the handle broke after one use, and it ended up breaking in half the same way. Don’t waste your money if you plan on using more than two or three times

Nice folding fishing net. Constucted well and works well in mybass boat to land the hard to reach bass . It folds up nicely and stores easily. The rubberized netting has held up well and the basket will hold nice sized bass . I’m pleased with the purchase.

Net has a reasonable design and is fairly easy to collapse/extend. However, after a season of use, the screws used to connect the folding mechanism to the handle were rusted. While there might be a viable economic reason to use plain steel screws, using stainless steel screws makes more sense for an object that is intended to be immersed in water on a regular basis. Three #8 x 3/4” stainless screws solved the problem so the solution is simple, the fact that a solution was required seems unreasonable.

Didn't like the pivot screws popped loose upon receiving and had to repair a new item with one larger size screw to fit. The screw holes are plastic and it was already cracked when the screw came out. That's product quality right there
