It is really necessary to prepare a vacuum sealer at home. Some foods can be better preserved. Its quality is great. It can be used for a long time.

It's very compact and draws the air from the bags pretty well but not with the full draw down vacuume of a countertop model. Its easy to handle and easy to clean. It runs a long time on a single charge. I find it easy to use. The vac baggies are good too. Those washed out nicely after using for a vacuume marinade attempt which all went well. Not for foods with much liquids imo. It draws the liquids to the vac diaphram spot and pulls the liquid through.
Quite good for dry goods. Meats, cheeses, salads and other fresh goods we want to protect from premature oxidation.

Just got this, and I have to say, I honestly did not expect much at this price point. I was astounded that it not only works, but works WELL! In fact, it works so well that I immediately ordered more of the sandwich sized bags for it, which are the ones that I will use the most. Will update review if any issues.
FYI for the people who say it doesn't work for liquid foods, if you READ THE DIRECTIONS it clearly states to freeze the food before vacuuming out the air.

I own a food saver, but I saw this on Amazon and I thought it would be very helpful when I have just one or two things that I need to vacuum pack. I am more than satisfied with this product as it sucks all the air out of the bag and leaves the food fresh. I have lettuce that I suctioned into this bag that has been in the refrigerator for two weeks and it is as fresh as the day I placed it in the bag. For the priceYou cannot beat this product. If you camp at all and have access to USB to charge it the possibilities are endless for uses. If you go boating and want to keep items dry, like a phone, wallet, food etc.
At home, If you have the food storage ziploc bags or the containers you need this. So easy to use and a lot easier then bringing out the big food saver machine. Overall, great suction and we love that you can seal and reseal the same bag. Eliminates waste! Great product!
