Answer: That might be pushing it.

Answer: No it is not. Just big enough for 18"-20" trout.

Answer: I've put 22" fish into it with room to spare. It would depend entirely on the size of your fish.

What are the dimensions of the hoop and handle length of any of the sizes?

Answer: I have the medium size. Hoop is 7 1/2" X 15", Handle 9". Great net for fly fishing, catch and release. You can quickly get an approximate length of the fish without having to handle them too much.

What is the length in feet of the larger net handle

Answer: It extends 2 to 3 foot probably, 12 inches wide and foot and a half deep.

Answer: This is it! I loved my net that is until I left it on a fishing trip I got to get another one !

What size is it? Is it rubber or nylon with rubber coating?

Answer: It measures about a 28 inch fish. you can go to measurenet.com to see all the options. It is a little small for a boat net I got the guide model for that. however, it is plenty big enough and as big as I'd want to carry by wading. The net I'm not sure if it is all rubber or coated. I have never worn any of the rubber to see if there is a core or not, and I've had some of my measure nets for 10 years or so now. there is no problem with durability of the net material.

Why is this $21 over the manufactures price for the large net?

Answer: Amazon charges 15% on items AND shipping and that net costs over $8 to ship. There are also advertising costs and other Amazon costs. Just trying to have the same NET income as if we sold it in the shop.

Is this foldable?

Answer: Certainly not the handle. But the netting folds (or collapses?) inside the frame.

Answer: No it's not,the handle on the large net extends out but doesn't fold.

The printing on rubber looks as though it would wear off quickly. I returned it. I prefer mesh over rubber for my fishing nets. Happy fishing to ya :)

I have the large size that I use for trout fishing and it is really great. It 's very light, gentle the fish and the net zips out for cleaning or replacement. The telescoping feature is vey handy. I keep the net with my inflatable raft gear and keep forgetting to grab for when wade fish so I am ordering a second one.

Should have gotten one years ago. Purchased a size small. Catch most of my trout between 9-16” perfect tool to help keep them in the water. Can measure up to 20”. Before this net, never felt great after taking pictures and keeping them out of the water for over 10 seconds. Now I can measure, get a camera ready while the fish is safe, and snap a quick shot before release. If considering it, buy it and go barbless!

I've had one knee replacement and the other needs replaced so the large rubber net is handy when fly fishing from the bank because I can extend the handle to net the fish with no strain on the knees. The ability to measure the catch in the net has been an additional benefit.

This product is very well constructed - perfect for anglers needing a net and measuring device all in one. Seller is also very prompt in shipping and is very accessible for questions or resolving any matters. I originally bought this net for myself but for unspecified reasons I donated this and it will certainly help that angler in there fishing adventures.

I like the consept but I was looking for a net to replace my net when fly fishing from the banks and it was a little to big. I am going to keep it for other fishing.
I just wish I could find a rubber bag extention type net that would replace my old wood trout net.

Lonni W : Is this marked every inch or every 2?

If you’re trying to figure out if this is marked every 1 or every 2 inches, click that helpful button below because it’s every 2. The company changed their design and when they did, all of these now are marked every 2 inches, but they do have one inch hash marked between them despite being labeled 2-4-6-8.

So you can tell that a fish is at a 3 on one end and 5 on the other, even without numbers, and know you’ve caught an 8-inch fish. That’s how you use it. Just add the two numbers of the lines that the nose and tail are closest to.

I use this net 4-5 times per week. I bought the medium with the rubber netting. This really is a great net.

The net itself can be zipped off and a replacement zipped on if you ever tear it. A nice design.

One thing of note, you’ll likely want your own lanyard or magnet for attachment as it doesn’t come with that, though the end of the net is ready with a ring for an attachment.
