How much does it weigh?

Answer: It is 17oz/470g. Light enough for comfortable wearing all day, yet vary strong attributed to the one-piece Aluminum construction with padded.

Answer: It’s gotta be less than a pound. I gave it to my dad as a gift so I don’t use it very often. Great aluminum construction, super super light.

Answer: It’s really really light. Size is very small for an adult but the belt is too big for a child.

Rico Giglio : The gimble hole is too small.

I don't know what rod you would need a fighting belt for that would fit into this one's hole. None of my saltwater rods rated 25 lb. and up did. The aluminum was tough, well built, cool blue color, but I am not wearing it for a fashion show.

The description is misleading.
The gimbal is too small for any offshore rods, none of my rod would fit into gimbal.
The 2" dimension is the outer most diameter so if your rod butt is over an 1-3/8"it will not work.
