Answer: China

Is the blade black or silver? The pictures show it both ways.

Answer: Mine is Black

Is there one with black handle? tks. cmike

Answer: No sir. Red only

Will it rust from the bolts or anywhere?

Answer: Have used mine for almost a year on my boat in salt water. No rust or tarnish. Great knife.

Answer: Mine is rusting fairly significantly after only two uses, despite being rinsed promptly with freshwater after use

Answer: Mine has not rusted and it has been wet plenty of times.

Does this knife have assisted opening?

Answer: No it does not...But easily opens

Is this knife currently in stock? I ordered one on Jan 15, got a notice it had been shipped, and then got another one that my $ was refunded.

How thick is the handle, what type of high carbon stainless steel, overall length, how thick is the blade?

Answer: Just a excellent knife, feels great and secure in the hand. Going to buy another one for a spare in my truck

Is the blade supposed to open this easily? I test drop it from 3 ft on carpet and the blade opens up nearly every time. Seems like it shouldn’t.

Answer: I've had one for a couple of years- Never dropped it!

I really really wanted to like this knife. It looks awesome and feels nice and heavy. It seemed like a high quality knife and the company markets the knife as being corrosion resistant. Well first fishing trip the blade rusted while just sitting in my pocket. I didn’t even use the knife the entire time. So we sent it back and got a new one thinking it was a defect. Got the new knife and ended up using it to cut some fishing line a few different times during the day. When we got back from the water and the knifes spring assist seized up and locked the blade open. Needless to say it doesn’t perform around salty conditions both knives got returned.
