Answer: Have used mine for almost a year on my boat in salt water. No rust or tarnish. Great knife.

Impressions: Razor sharp. Quality materials of construction. Outstanding texture ensures grip. Pocket clip is is positioned such that knife does not protrude. Blade is weighed and balanced perfectly yielding a positive lock when flipped open. Love the feel as the blade locks into place. I couldn't be happier with my Bubba Blade. Most Strongly Recommend the Sculpin.

I have and use several pocket knives for work that range in price from $30 up to $180. Just the feel of this knife tells me it is well made. Right out of the box it’s SHARP. I’ve had multiple higher priced knives that had a lower quality feel and edge. So far it’s cut through everything faster than I expected. It has a good weight and feels great in the hand. It’s not spring assisted, but it flips out so easy that you’d think it was spring loaded. The hidden clip placement is great and easy to get in and out of your front pocket. All in all I’m honestly surprised that this knife is not $80 - $100 since it could be easily. The only thing that it did not have that I expected it to have since it is a BUBBA BLADE is the grippy handle. However I like the finish it has since the tacky grip probably would not fit in your pocket as smooth. I have several knives from BUBBA BLADE and keep coming back for the quality and price compared to other blades that just don’t match up. They sharpen easily and hold an edge when out to the test. Thank you BUBBA BLADE. You have a returning and happy customer yet again!

I really really wanted to like this knife. It looks awesome and feels nice and heavy. It seemed like a high quality knife and the company markets the knife as being corrosion resistant. Well first fishing trip the blade rusted while just sitting in my pocket. I didn’t even use the knife the entire time. So we sent it back and got a new one thinking it was a defect. Got the new knife and ended up using it to cut some fishing line a few different times during the day. When we got back from the water and the knifes spring assist seized up and locked the blade open. Needless to say it doesn’t perform around salty conditions both knives got returned.
