After the scale settles on a weight, it automatically locks the weight on the display until cleared. Is there a way to turn off this feature?

does it record max weight

Is there a way to calibrate this scale? Mine is a few pounds over when weighing known weights.

Answer: I don't think there is except for the auto zero feature.

What are the locking functions? Will it record a max weight?

Answer: My husband said he's not sure about the locking function cause all he does is turn it on weigh his fish and turn it off.. but he's happy with it and is accurate

I guess you get what you pay for. Ir got little wet and stopped working one the first day i got it. It boxed in an all chinese writing box. It is orange and not black. do yourself a favor and spend a couple dollars more for a better model.

Got this today and caught a 11 pound buffalo. Scale worked perfectly after I put a larger hook on scale.

This item works great. It is extremely easy to use. The buttons are self explanatory and everything worked exactly as it should. It does take 2 AAA batteries. I think it says AA in the description but I'm pretty sure mine took AAA. I will double check that. You can switch from KG to LBs it also has a tare button so if you need to zero out a container and just weigh the contents in it you can do that as well. It has an LCD backlit screen so you can see at night or in darker areas. It really couldn't be more simple to use. Its under $9 which I think is a bargain.
