Will this thumb screw fit other ACOG style scopes that can be mounted to the carry handle?

Answer: Yes, once you remove the picatinny base.

purchased trijicon ta31Dacog4x32but with mounts,too high to fit ar15 carry handle for eyes, wanting the rec chevron, is there any help to install this

Answer: Did your Acog come with a low and high mount? Use low mount with a carry handle pic rail. I have a Primary Arms pac5x that came with a high/low mount option and I took off the high mount and it is now usable with carry handle height 3 or 3 1/2” from center barrel.

Answer: Take the bottom mount off and then it will fit

DA : Very good overall but you have to consider some things depending on how you use it.

Probably the cheapest Trijicon product. Not much can be said but I think some consideration must be made before purchasing this and putting it on a carry handle.

The main appeal of this thumb screw is that you can use the carry handle sight through a channel in the acog. With that said, if you have a kill flash you won't be able to use the channel for your sights since the kill flash plugs the peep hole.

Another thing I couldn't get right is I put this on a A2 carry handle. The thumb screw comes with two washers on it. I couldn't put this on properly without removing the one washer on it. Not sure if that extra washer is meant to be used or just there to compensate the difference in tolerance of the many handles out there. Whatever the case, it works fine without the extra washer.

Overall I am very pleased with this. I have one build on a A2 upper and I wanted to put a retro acog look on it. I put a TA31-ECOS on this A2 upper. Yes it is rather high but I can easily use it on a fixed A1 stock.

Perfect fit on my retro AR carrying handle, I use cheap Chinese ACOG style optic for this rifle, remove picatiny mount base and use this screw, washer / spacer shape is perfectly fit to handle and screw head is just right size for hand tight torque, shoot 22LR about 300 rounds, 60 rounds of 223/556 so far. Hold zero and staying tight still.
