Answer: I use this to seal my Colorstreet nail polish strips. It seals them tight. They stay fresh and don't dry up. I believe what you want to fo would work too.

Answer: It should stay sealed. I used this to close sample packets that held lotion and body wash, and they’ve stayed sealed with no leaks.

Answer: No. It does not get nearly hot enough to be a flat iron (for hair). Totally different voltages and temps.

For those who use this for color street, how long do you hold it down to successfully seal color street nails?

Answer: I’m not sure what is’color street’ however most of the plastic materials it takes a second and Mylar it is instant.

Answer: Not long. Maybe 2-3 seconds. Otherwise it'll burn through.

Answer: You can but the sealing service is small so you just have to keep working it down the top of the bag as you seal

I got this as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend. Best. Gift. EVER! If you’re a foodie or a big snacker or anything in between, GET THIS HANDY GADGET! It looks and works like a mini flat iron. At first, I tried to reseal a bag in one fell swoop, but I’ve found that resealing it slowly and in sections works most effectively. Just to piggy back off what one of the previous reviewers said, it’s like opening up a new bag of chips every time!
