Product reviews of HUISPARK Kitchen Vacuum Sealer with Bags,60Kpa Vacuum Heat Seal Machine,Home Use Vacuum Bag Pack,110V 80W Food Sealer,8.5 Inch Max Seal Longth(Black)
Nadine Herbert : Easy to use
There is nothing I just liked about this product
Crystal A : Easy to Use
This vacuum sealer is great for my food prepping and also meat separation for the freezer.
The machine itself is super easy to use by pressing either dry or moist, put the bag underneath the sealer opening evenly for the machine to suck most of the air out and seal the end so it's not going to leak. Not as much air was pulled out as I anticipated (I thought they'd be truly vacuum sealed and "hard" feeling, but some air is still in there, so the packages don't sit quite as flush as I'd like them to). But they definitely keep the food as fresh as when I put them in the bags and freezer, and definitely don't get cold frost on them.
It does include a separate suction tube to vacuum seal wine too so it doesn't go bad if you only drink a glass a week.
The cutter is handy to trim off the ends if they're too long.
So now I seal my meal prep items (which saves SO much space not having to use Tupperware), separate my fresh meat for freezing, and even vegetables that are on the cusp of losing their freshness - they keep their fresh factor for MUCH longer being sealed.
It only takes a minute or so per bag, so minimal effort to save food in the long run.
Prince of Peas : Great for low volume and low moisture sealing
TL;DR: For the price, it’s a great deal but be aware that it might not seal high moisture foods
PROS: • Can’t beat the price • Seals relatively quickly • Easy to use
CONS: • Has problem sealing with high moisture foods • Can only seal up to 8” wide and you will need to make some adaptations for that • If you get moisture in it, it is hard to clean • A bit cheaply built, the locking system, in particular, seems as if it may not hold up
I do a lot of vacuum sealing, primarily because I often cook using the sous vide method. I have a bigger, much more expensive vacuum system, and I thought this would be great for little jobs, since it is so small, it could be easily stored and readily available in my kitchen.
And, it is pretty good for smaller jobs. The limitations of this machine are that it cannot use a bag wider than 8” and it does not, as many other systems do, have a well to collect any moisture and/or a high moisture vacuum setting. That means that if the vacuum starts to pull up moisture, not only is it not likely to seal, but it will be messy since the moisture has no collection area and will just go all over the inside of the vacuum sealer, maybe even going into the vacuum ports which you definitely don’t want to happen. Many who have not used a vacuum sealer before may not realize how much moisture is in food, it is not always obvious such as the watermelon I used in my photos. If you take a steak, for example, rub it dry and vacuum it, you will see a lot of water/blood being pulled out and rising to the top where it gets sealed.
Other than that and the fact that to close the lid you have to “slam” it as per the instructions, and the fact that I am not very confident that the plastic pieces of the lock mechanism will stand up to many “slammings”, this is a very decent vacuum sealer, especially when considering the price point.
By using 8” rolls, instead of pre-sealed 6.75” bags, not only will you save a lot of money, but you will be able to make a bag as (reasonably) long as you like. Simply place the open end of the roll on the seal bar, press “seal” and you’ll now have a sealed bottom. Cut a piece as long as you like, and now you have an open top. Fill, vacuum, and seal. However, you will need, if you’re using an 8” wide bag, to cut the corners a bit so that you do not block the vacuum port. See the attached video for a demonstration.
This vacuum sealer would be very good for people sealing small items, especially dry items, e.g., ground coffee, spices, flours, cheese, fruit such as apples, but not oranges or, as you’ll see in the attached photos, watermelon. It should handle most meats but get an 8” roll of bag material and make the bag long so that the liquid has to travel far before it gets to the seal bar.
Overall, I’ll give this a 4-star rating. If it was priced much higher, as are my other vacuum sealers (at least 6x as expensive as this unit), it would only get 3 stars but, given how inexpensive this is for this type of equipment, and how well it does when it is used within the parameters it can reasonably handle, I’ll give it 4 stars.
Ray Santi : Loving my Vacuum Sealer
It is the easiest vacuum sealer I have ever used. Loved the price too. I buy the family packs of meats and repackage them in smaller portions. It awesome.
funbear : good unit
what I like one button to seal, and it seals faster than most I have tried... one button vac and seal, works great and again faster than most I have tried, does a good job vac out the air.... simple operation, easy stop to know u have bag at right point.... the only downer is, it requires two hands to open, bottons on each end... prefer a single button on top, but not a deal breaker for the price, its an excellent unit .....
McGadget : Very good basic performing vacuum sealer.
This unit is economically priced and performed very well for its price point. It vacuumed sealed my filament in a reasonable and acceptable amount of time. The seal that is made is a fairly wide single strip. I chose the spool to test it on as there tends to me more air volume to remove when compared to food and it handled the challenge nicely. It comes with extras such as a tube and bottle stopper but no bags. It is very light weight and compact. My 11'' wide bag roll barely made it in, so that would be the maximum width of bags to buy.
It is not as efficient or powerful as the name brands but it is effective and a good utilitarian vacuum sealer. It has a basic cutting attachment at the top for cutting bags, and it works but I don't expect it to last a long time as it feels flimsy. Not that important to me but something to consider.

Two kids mom : Works well for the price range. Pretty simple to use.
I like these sealers in general, this one works well for the price range. The buttons on it make sense and the sealing works well. Suction level is fine, what you expect in the forty dollar price range.
It works better if you give it a few min to warm up so the sealer gets hot.
It is nice to have the cutter on top.
These are also great for when travelling. We seal products (like shampoo bottles) in them for checked luggage (they will sometimes open them so we also put in a ziploc. Also good for mailing leaky items.
I like to use to make individual servings of big box store products.
Amdije57 : Great for the money. Sealwsn
I’m not
S.A. : Not perfect but gets the job done
I wonder if it's just me or everyone who gets a sealer for the first time immediately takes someone's phone and seals it. Suction isn't really strong but it gets mostly there. The vacuum lets up right as it seals so enough gets in to not have the edges tight. Should work for most things, especially sous vide. Setup is easy and operation is pretty straight forward.
JLee : Simple machine for basic sealing
This is an inexpensive, relatively simple machine. It lacks some of the features of a more expensive machine, but it is very useful for those who don’t want to spend the money for a fancy machine or who don’t have room for a large machine or who will not be using a vacuum sealer very often.
I got it because it is small and pink. I do have a large, full-featured, more expensive machine, but it takes up too much room to leave out on my counter. This small machine, with it being just a little over three inches from front to back, can stay out on my counter, looking so pretty in the soft pink color, and it works for a lot of tasks.
The machine works well for dry, solid items. It is not for sealing wet items like leftover soup or stews unless you first put them in the bag and let them freeze until solid.
There is no soft seal mode, or pump mode, or a stop button, so you will not want to use this for soft things like cake or bread or pastries.
It works for bags up to 11 inches wide. Oddly, the item description, at this time, says the maximum sealing width is 8.5 inches, but the info on the machine says the maximum width is <280 mm, or about 11 inches. I have successfully sealed 11-inch wide bags.
It has only two modes: Vacuum Seal and Single Seal. Use the Single Seal when you are making your own bags from a roll; it simply seals the edge and does not vacuum the air out. So first Single Seal one open edge, place the food in the bag, and Vacuum Seal the other end. Vacuum Seal sucks out the air and then seals.
Cons:
It seems that occasionally it leaves just a minimal amount of air in the bag, but I use different bags so that may have something to do with it. FYI, the vacuum pressure is listed at 60 kPa, which is typical for vacuum sealers.
Also, the heating bar seems to get quite hot. I remove the bag as soon as the light goes off and let it cool a bit before using it again.
Melissa M. Baker : A little tricky to use
Seal does not take sometimes, so even if it looks okay, it’s not. But overall, it is a good value for as much as I use it.
Glinny : Great Value, and The Power Packs a Sound! Not Silent.
The value for the money is unbeatable! This has the extras that other offers didn't and cheaper. Haven't used the wine suction nor container attachments yet, but can't wait to! The first two items I vacuumed was short ribs and worked great enough, left a slight pockets of air, and no option ( I know of) to manually operate sealing- its automated time. A bit louder than expected- not to use if sleeping baby at home. This is slender in size compared to the ones my friends have, but length wise, still too bulky to fit on my kitchen counter without it sticking out. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend.
Nuurs : So far so good!
I've been using this little unit for some time now and the results are very good, I was skeptical at first due to some bad reviews I had encounter and after using this machine I realized that it is very reliable and functions very well, if you take the time to read the manual and thoroughly clean the machine after use, you can have very consistent and reliable use and results every time. Using the right vacuum sealer bags is essential first to have a good air suction and a good seal, a bad seal can be from moist between the two parts of the bag preventing the plastic from melting and leaving uneven sealed gaps that later on will allow air in defeating the purpose of a vacuum sealed environment, please make sure to freeze liquids before sealing them with this machine and you will be OK, when putting greasy foods on the bag pay spacial care to avoid smear the grease where the seal will be applied, any liquid, food particle or oils will prevent you from getting a good seal. In my opinion this is a very well made unit with a very small foot print and tons of utilities. Also comes with a bag cutter that at least up to now is working great and helps me to keep straight cuts to my bags and helping also to get consistent seals. Despite some of the bad reviews I consider this machine, very solid and durable if you take care of it, please make sure to read the user manual and fully understand how this machine works and I'm sure you will love it.
Amber M. Anderson : Very easy to use! Perfect for cryovac!
Crystal! Is very easy to use! No complicated parts or settings... easy to follow instructions you can then trash because you'll not forget.
This isn't huge and won't do big things, but its great for doing cryovac meals for one which I'm you can then pop in the freezer and reheat by sticking in a pan of boiling water... which is exactly what I wanted to do!
This is perfect for making meals to deliver to someone or make for easy future dinners.
No leaks yet, good seal sufficient to prevent freezer burn if using a good freezer.
Doesn't seem to be showing issues after several uses.
Good deal if you want something easy that's not too big.
Melissa M. Baker : A little tricky to use
Seal does not take sometimes, so even if it looks okay, it’s not. But overall, it is a good value for as much as I use it.
JD : Nice Dependable Vacuum Sealer
I got this for sealing up frozen foods and for making hiking supply packages.
Pros: 8 1/2” Max Seal Length 60Kpa Vacuum Heat Seal 2 Modes Simple Easy to Use LED Indicator For Modes Fast Keeps Food Fresh 3 Times Longer Than Normal Storage
Cons: Will Not Seal Not Textured Bags
What I received in the package: 1 x HUISPARK Kitchen Vacuum Sealer 1 x Power Cord 5 x 4” Vacuum Bags 5 x 6 3/4” Vacuum Bags 1 x 3-Layer Mask 1 x User Manual
This HUISPARK Kitchen Vacuum Sealer product is roughly 14”x 3 1/4”x 2 1/4” and weighs approximately 1lb 3.9oz. The sealer comes with 10 bags and the manufacturer reports this can only seal up to 8 1/2” maximum. There are two modes of operation. Mode 1, Vacuum Seal, which vacuums the Oxygen out of the bag and then heat seals it. Mode 2, Single Seal, which only performs a heat seal of the bag.
What I like about this product is that it allows you to seal various size bags. While the item description states that this product has a max seal length of 8 1/2”. That is inaccurate. The actual max seal length is 11 1/4” as you can see in the photos.
I tested this numerous times and I am not certain why the item information is inaccurate but it clearly has the heat seal is 11 1/4”. Even the vacuum chamber area is 11 1/2”. Both well over the 8 /12” max item description.
I tested this with 11” textured bags. The heat seal ran straight through the entire 11” of the bag without issue as you can see in the photos. That being said, I did find that that size bag I use very rarely. I found that 6” bags work best for my needs. I do a lot of single and double food servings for hiking. That bag size seems to be ideal for the freeze dried food and powders that I tend to use on the trail. I also found that is best because you are unable to make your own bags with a 11” bag. I tried and can but I am unable to get the vacuum seal piece to work properly. I can fold the 11” bag in half and seal it in the center. Then cut the two bags apart so I have roughly 2 5 1/2” bags. They work fine until you try to vacuum seal them. It must be the heat seal line that is created when you try to make your own bag. It must create just enough of a gap to not allow the vacuum process to complete. You can see the oxygen get sucked out but it never goes to the next step and heal seals. So I have found that you can pop the lid locks quickly and then re-close them and hit the Single Seal Button. This allow a minimal amount of air back into the bag .. so it is not a perfect vacuum and seal but will work for now .. as I will be using them in short order. I suggest that you get 4” to 6 3/4” bags. That way it will both vacuum and seal your items for a perfect seal.
The vacuum sealer will only work on textured bags (Textured on one side and smooth on the other). If you are using smooth sided bags you can only heat seal them.
I found that for powders or items that have some moisture in them. When you vacuum them it tends to suck some of it into the vacuum chamber. For powders it could get some of it caught in the seal which could compromise the seal. To rectify that .. you have to lengthen your bag a couple inches so that it can vacuum out the oxygen before the powder gets too far. For items with moisture, you have to dry the vacuum chamber and the inside of the bag area that is being sealed. Then retry.
Also the sealer does not have a vacuum bag cutter so you have to do everything manually. Of course, that appears to be more standard with modern vacuum sealers.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this is a decent sealer for the price tag. It has a nice sealing length and works well for almost all types of sealing. In my testing, the unit only gave me some trouble with moist in the bags or powder. Other than that, it worked without issue. I found it to be quick and efficient, heat sealing bags in less than 10 seconds. This product helps to extend the life of your food by a minimum of 3 times.
This product is made in China.
Seonghwa Kim : um.. that is so so
it doesn't work vacuum function well . but it is useful

Suxiaoma : Kitchen Vacuum Sealer
The Kitchen Vacuum Sealer is easy to set up and use. I like how quickly you can preserve your dry or wet food, even sous vide.
It is really a nice way to prolong the shelf life of food to avoid unnecessary waste. You do need to purchase additional vacuum sealer bags , but I think it is pretty much worth it.
S. Woodall : Great
Great sealer
Kara Ratcliffe : Value of money ????
It’s very easy to use ! It’s got good suction . Just make sure you lay your food flat . Good price for what it’s worth I love it .
???? Serendipity ???? : ????????
I just couldn’t get this to work. It would take out a lot of the air, but not all of it and definitely not airtight. It sealed fine ????????♀️ but the seal is kinda pointless when you’re trying to get sealed airtight food. However, if you’re looking for something that takes out SOME air and then seals then this may work fine for you (clothes, shoes, camping supplies like matches, etc). We tried various foods- shredded cheese, chicken breast, steak and bread... I can totally see why the bread wasn’t squished airtight, but everything else we tried only vacuumed out 1/2 the air, at best. We wasted a lot of bags trying to get it to work... I do not believe the problem had anything to do with the bags because I actually used another brand I have to be sure... ????????
Oliver DeMille, TJEd : Nice
This is a compact sealer with cutter and external vacuum capabilities. Super easy and effective.
AUDREY : great contraption
Perfect for my space in my small kitchen. Very fast for vacuum sealing all my dried fruits!
Sebrina Dams : Great deal, great price!
Great deal for the price. Easy to use, lightweight, good suction! Very pleased.
Yelena : Good
Good
Rowan : The directions are horrible
I am a first time vacuum sealer user so I had no idea what I was doing. I recommend reading all the "Coup" instructions, their 'quickie' instructions aren't very explanatory, I didn't know what single seal was, I thought it was just one bag seal, no, it's a seal without the vacuum. I can tell that if you have high moisture items, you do, as the "coup" instructions say, freeze it first, then vacuum it. My big disappointment is that they only give you 5 medium sized bags and 5 little bags, I can freeze my beans and then I need to buy more. Other than that, as I guess other reviewers have said, it's a great beginner vacuum sealer. I live alone and like to cook big batch and make my lunches ahead of time, this will make it so much easier.
Thecook : Just OK
This vacuum sealer has all the features you'd want. The reason for just three stars is because it lacks the power to really get all the air out of the vacuum bag
Brandon : Vague instructions but we figured it out
This vacuum sealer machine is a budget option, and I understand you get what you pay for sometimes. It works well, but the instructions were a little vague and it took quite a few tries before we realized we were not pushing the lid closed all the way - you have to press the lid down really pretty hard until it "clicks" and locks into place, and then it will seal properly. You are supposed to wait 30 seconds between each seal and 60 seconds between each vacuum + seal. That's a little long, but not too bad I guess. It works with 6" and 11" wide bags and rolls, and the cutter on top is very convenient. I love the small size of this vacuum sealer, it's barely a quarter the size of my vacuum sealer from a big name brand. I also love that it includes a wine stopper, but wish it included a couple of stoppers with the package. Overall, this is a great vacuum sealer machine for the price, and will save you SO much money in the long run compared to throwing out freezer burned food.
Thecook : Just OK
This vacuum sealer has all the features you'd want. The reason for just three stars is because it lacks the power to really get all the air out of the vacuum bag
Oliver DeMille, TJEd : Nice
This is a compact sealer with cutter and external vacuum capabilities. Super easy and effective.
Milan girl : Not a good product
I would not suggest this product to anyone. It is so slow and it will not pull all the air out of the bags.
Brian : Great Product!
Great Product! Super easy to use and very well built.
deborah g. : VERY GOOD
I gave it as a birthday gift to a good friend. After a training session I left her with it. She did it easily and is very happy with the product. Great for the money and as long as she is happy with product it means it is great.
