These bags are by far the worst I have purchased. They do not hold their seal and loose vacuum and the food freezer burns. Somewhere in the range of twenty percent loose their seal within two months. This is an unacceptable failure rate and the loss of food is substantial. If i could give a zero star rating I would.

imkimc : Bags curl up - hard to seal

A bit thin compared to other bags I’ve used. But the real problem is that the edges in the middle of the bag want to curl in on themselves making it very difficult to get a seal. You have to stretch the bags out and insert them into the vacuum sealer under tension to get them to seal.
I would not buy them again, and I’m thinking of just tossing them and getting a different brand of bag altogether. Prett disappointing for a bag with so many good ratings.

Considering other reviews, I must have received a defective shipment of “WISH” rolls.

I ordered a 6-roll package in May of 2020 and had used them only occasionally and immediately put the items into the freezer after sealing. Recently I had multiple packages of fish to seal and was leaving them on the table for a few minutes before transferring to the freezer. When I began to label the bags, I realized they were not holding a vacuum. Most were even leaking liquid from the seal. I assumed the moisture was causing the sealing problem and began repackaging the fish in new bags and making sure to keep the sealing surface as dry as possible. The bags were still not sealing. I borrowed a roll of “FOOD SAVER” brand from a neighbor, and they worked flawlessly and took much less time to seal.

I now realize that my disappointed in the quality of items frozen for a while was a result of poor seals.

I only bought these because the Food Saver branded ones sold out because of the pandemic. These do not seal if there's any bit of moisture from marinade. These would work ok for dry storage but if you do sous vide cooking these are useless. Will never buy again.

Good value, you get a lot for the money but all three rolls had a lot of creases in them towards end half of each rolls.

Jayme Madison : All 6 Rolls Are Defective

Every roll is defective. They all have MAJOR creases in them that cause the bags not to be able to be sealed correctly. Another issue is that 2 out of the 6 rolls were not even 10 feet in length(each roll should be 16'). The quality(thickness) is adequate which is to be expected due to the price for them. Overall, I would NOT recommend purchasing these.

RedJ : Useless garbage

The first red flag was that the first 8" of the roll material were ruined by removing the sticker on the roll end, which also removed the bag beneath it.
With that bit removed and starting from intact roll, it quickly became apparent that these were not equivalent to the OEM rolls they were meant to replace. The thickness and feel of the plastic is thinner and stiffer, and the quilting pattern on the 2nd layer was very different, which was the second red flag.
The last, and most important red flag is that these bags DO NOT WORK. I was unable to get a vacuum seal that held on two ends of of any bag and heat sealing them would sometimes cut a line right through one layer of bag. I can't risk ruining 100' of food with these poorly manufactured knockoffs so I cut my losses and returned them for a refund- I'm back to the official bag rolls.

My foodsaver really struggles to get a good seal on these to vacuum out all the air, meaning I have to try multiple times any time I try to seal food with it, and I have to go through way more rolls. It feels like cheap material, I'd pay more for a better product that actually works.

These vacuum seal bags are slightly thinner than the FoodSaver brand bags, but so far have been working flawlessly. They seal well and I have had no bags that have leaked. This is in contrast to a couple of FoodSaver brand bags that have lost their seal. So, I'm very happy and plan on purchasing more of the same if they continue to work this well. If not, I'll update the review. Good purchase and I definitely can recommend these.

3/3/20 I have now vacuum sealed a number of items and have had 3 seal failures. These usually occur within the hour after sealing. It has occurred with things that have a bit of sharp edges. Medium shell pasta consistently failed. Failures also occurred with dried brussel sprouts and dried broccoli. In all of these cases, I cut the bag open, placed the opened bag in a new bag and sealed the new bag. The sealing has then consistently held. So, items with abrupt corners are best placed within a storage bag, left slightly open, and then that placed in the vacuum seal bag to be vacuum sealed. I have also had sealing failures with similar items with FoodSaver bags, so this seems to be the nature of sealing bags. I am still happy with the bags and recommend them but extra care must be taken for certain dry items.

These are much cheaper than the name brand - however the plastic is thinner and less durable. If you are sealing anything with rough edges - beware. Also be very careful any bumps or scraps - you will violate the seal quite easily. I have had to double-bag some items that the seal failed on just for it to work. Works well for very soft items that are not going to undergo any torture. Otherwise use the real McCoy.
