I purchased a 5 pack and through them all away before I even finished 1/4 of 1st roll. There's no need to struggle to TRY to get a good seal. It either works or not. I went back to name brand.

First time we weren’t completely satisfied with an Amazon’s Choice recommendation. Product good points: reasonable cost. Product negative points: Not as thick as the Food Saver brand— Did not vacuum seal as tight as the FS brand. Overall, recommend spending the extra money on the FS brand.

Been using these for about six months and cannot find any difference between these and the branded bags for my vacuum sealer. Oh, except these cost half as much. Buy these and save yourself some money.

The first red flag was that the first 8" of the roll material were ruined by removing the sticker on the roll end, which also removed the bag beneath it.
With that bit removed and starting from intact roll, it quickly became apparent that these were not equivalent to the OEM rolls they were meant to replace. The thickness and feel of the plastic is thinner and stiffer, and the quilting pattern on the 2nd layer was very different, which was the second red flag.
The last, and most important red flag is that these bags DO NOT WORK. I was unable to get a vacuum seal that held on two ends of of any bag and heat sealing them would sometimes cut a line right through one layer of bag. I can't risk ruining 100' of food with these poorly manufactured knockoffs so I cut my losses and returned them for a refund- I'm back to the official bag rolls.

The bags work just fine, It just happens to be a pain when I cut the bag and the edges curl, it makes it difficult for me to feed it into my food saver machine. They are a little fussy but they work. Would buy again, hopefully they redesign to fix the discrepancy.

I bought a NESCO VS-12 sealer and choose these bags to go with it since they seemed to be a good value for the money. I am putting meat into long term freezing so I used the double seal function on my sealer. These bags work great and honestly, I have no issues with them. I did not have the sharp object issues others had as the meat I was sealing came frozen I was just putting them into vacuum bags for longer storage. The bags seem to hold and I have no issues. I will be a customer again when I need bags but with 100ft of bags for $32 it is going to be a while before I need more bags!

These bags are by far the worst I have purchased. They do not hold their seal and loose vacuum and the food freezer burns. Somewhere in the range of twenty percent loose their seal within two months. This is an unacceptable failure rate and the loss of food is substantial. If i could give a zero star rating I would.
