Automated Data Collection

Capture catch data simply by weighing your catch. The scale will send data to the app and the app will pull in additional details such as date/time, GPS coordinates and then you can add photos and other details such as Species, Length, Girth, Weather, Bait/Lure, Technique, Waterway, and other data.

Push Notifications

Push Notifications give you confidence to know that your catch has been recorded to the app. Push notification to iOS devices also show on paired Apple Watches.

No more Fish Tales and over exaggerating what you estimate the catch weighs. Feel confident in knowing catches weight with repeatable and accurate readings every time. The scale uses 5 Gram division to give a low margin of error on each reading.

Stainless Steel Hook comes attached or you can use the removable Carabiner and Non-Puncture Lip Gripper attachment to weigh every catch. Tare feature allows you to zero out before every weight to know you are getting actual weight of the catch. The protective cover can be used to protect the battery department from rough conditions in use and flipped around to protect the screen when in storage.

Any plans to create software which talks to twitch or model specific for twitch streamers?

Does it keep more than one person's fish

Answer: Yes. Using the assign catch feature. Each person must create a separate account and then using the profile follow the other person that they would want to be able to assign the catch for them.

Do you have to purchase app or in app purchases ?

Answer: The app is free to download and use. The only additional purchases available in the app are for the tournament events hosted on our our Connect Leaderboard Tournament platform.

Are users able to create their own private tournaments between friends and family?

Answer: Yes. Right now the feature to create events is available on our Connect Leaderboard tournament management software website.

If I buy connect 3 scales for my dad, my brother, and myself, do I have to pay extra to host a private tournament? We live in different states.

Answer: Private tournaments on Connect Leaderboard cost $5 Per user per event. This fee is waived for active Connect Fishing League members. We are working on a feature to allow a set number of Free events for everyone each month but this feature is not available yet.

Will it still work when fishing lakes that are off the grid?

Answer: Yes it should

Is this waterproof? I had the original model that I paid $100 for and it rusted out siting in a dry compartment over winter

Answer: This is not water proof but water resistant. we have improved with rust resistant components and added a back cover to help prevent water moisture from getting in battery compartment.

D. H. : Unreadable with polarized glasses on

On my third replacement. Started with gen 1 and now just received a gen 3. The screen is polarized in the opposite direction as most all sunglasses are polarized. If you’ve ever turned two pieces of polarized material 90 degrees to each other you know what happens - you only see black. This scale is unreadable with polarized sunglasses on. That might be OK if your glasses are not prescription and you can take them off to read the scale, but mine are prescription. Scale is useless.

Hello! Heard about the scale from Mr. Matt Miller. Has talked such good things about it. I love how it comes with two different weigh options. You can either use the lip gripper style, which clamps on the mouth of the fish instead of the gill. Or you get your traditional hook style. Also now comes with a extra backing for the scale to help prevent water and moisture from getting into it. (Does not mean it's waterproof) love being able to log catches and really keep track on what was working when. Give options to post your photo,track air temp, GPS location, species of fish caught and the lures you used. Helps to go back and look at was was working previously. Also, nice larger LCD screen. Much better then the first one! Nice slick design, just a solid black look. Which I LOVE. ALSO BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, So be sure to get some!

Like its accuracy and simplicity of use as far as logging goes. Using app is not very intuitive. Not waterproof, and I get condensation in the viewing screen.

Also the app should allow you to customize the choices for lure, technique, etc.

Overall, not sorry I bought it, but could be improved, and should be for the price paid.
