Very excited about this purchase! We’re using it to put steaks in the freezer when purchased in bulk while they’re on sale. I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Seems very easy to use with simple instructions

This vacuum sealer is nice and gets the job done like more expensive units. I have a few issues, which are minor. First, the little cutting tool isn't the greatest: I would just use scissors. Second, my unit doesn't automatically switch to Seal after it Vacuums, which I thought it was supposed to do. However, it's easy to hit Cancel and then Seal when it's vacuumed enough! Overall, I think it's a good value, and those minor quibbles are all that stopped me from giving it 5 stars.

This if the first vacuum sealer I have owned, and after using it this afternoon, I am asking myself why did I wait so long to buy one? This product is easy to use, and will allow me to keep food fresh in the freezer for a long time. The instruction manual is just OK, but because using the sealer is so intuitive, the written instructions really aren't necessary.
This product comes with a roll of vacuum seal bags, as well as 10 precut bags. They are only 7" or 8" wide, so not the best for larger items but the sealer will accommodate bags up to 12". I am going to shop additional bags on Amazon right now.
The product also ships with a hose and stopper for vacuum sealing canisters, but I wasn't able to test this functionality. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work as designed.
The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was the included bag cutter. I found it cumbersome to use and difficult to cut straight lines from the rolled vacuum bags. But, no worries, I just used conventional scissors to do the job instead and that worked great.
I plan to seal the season's crab, shrimp, blackberries for use throughout the offseason. I highly recommend this purchasing this vacuum sealer for anyone who wants to maximum their freezer to preserve fresh foods.

This Blusmart Vacuum Sealer is compact in design, yet offers multiple customized settings for food preservation. It features a generous sealing bar, and is simple to use. Featuring an attractive and sleek stainless steel design, it also has a nice appearance. I also like the compact size, as it doesn't take up much space on our countertop, where it will likely stay. This sealer represents a good value--no need to needlessly spend more for units that will accomplish the very same purpose, as it has all the features necessary to make preserving our food easy and economical. I own other Blusmart products and I feel confident that their customer service will stand by me for any unforeseen need.

Easy to use. I opened the box and was able to vacuum seal some ground turkey I had. Has easy to use instructions and within 5 mins had 3 -1 pound ground turkey packs ready to go. The vacuum pulled out all the air quickly and sealed it. Three days later I checked on it in my freezer and there was no freeze dry in the packages. Highly recommend this product. Can’t wait to vacuum seal more stuff :)

I was given this product to evaluate. I have been a long time user of a vacuum sealer, and my basis for comparison is with a FoodSaver FM2000.
There is a lot to like about this vacuum sealer. It performs perfectly out of the box, creating excellent suction, and providing a relatively wide, and tight seal. It comes with some value added items. These include a vacuum wine bottle stopper, a connecting tube for vacuum containers, and a bag cutter. There are several controls on this unit, which accommodate both dry and "wet" items to seal, and you can also adjust the vacuum level in steps. It does just what it is supposed to do. The top latches on tightly, and the vacuum releases automatically after sealing, which is nice. It is relatively quiet in operation.
Here are the negatives. There is about an inch of wasted vacuum bag above the seal. This can be useful for writing the date of packaging. The cord cannot be stored underneath the unit, although there is a wrap up holder there, it isn't big enough. I can't address the availability of replacement parts for this brand.
Overall, this is a nice sealer that has excellent vacuum, good controls, and appears well built.

It is so easy to use and seals the packet so well. It helps lock up the moisture in the bag. It’s compact, light weight machine that works like magic. It is so useful to seal the bag with crackers or liquid. I love the cute wine cork accessories give along with it????
