Watts : Good knife for occasional use

Worked great and was super sharp when the item arrived. Lost its edge quick after cleaning 10-12 fish. I sharpened it twice since and the edge is OK, but not like before. Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing, but I still like the knife. It fits great in your hand and you have lots of control.

This knife has some cool features. I like the serrated/ saw back side and the skinning hook is a very nice addition too. Perfect for gutting fish with harder skin. It has a thicker blade than most fillet knives which will probably hold up for a very long time. A great fishing knife!

Really enjoying this filet knife. It came packaged well. Handle has a nice ergonomical feel. Blade cuts and holds edge pretty well. I like the amount of flex it has. I have not used it on fish, but have on some venison. The locking sheath was also a nice addition. This is a very good knife. Very well-made nice rubber textured handle. This is definitely going straight into my tackle box. I believe this would make a nice gift for a fisherman. It not only has a nice filleting blade but also a serrated edge. The line cutter is well-equipped to also cut paracord.

I have used it for a month so far, probably 6 trips total. I got this to use as a saltwater bait knife. Works great, handle feels good and is easy to hold when wet. Blade holds a good edge. Love the locking sheath.

The knife blade is so thin that it bends under medium duty use. Where the cutout on the blade is, it will bend to a 30 to 90 degree angle and is very unsafe because if the blade breaks it will go into your hand. The blade is too thin.

This knife arrives nearly unsharpened. I'm not sure what butter knives other reviewers have used, because this knife is not sharp at all. I had to hand sharpen it for the good part of an hour to get it to even cut paper. It's not bendy enough for a fillet knife, either, and I know after a single fish it will be dulled significantly.

Spend more on a better knife, like a victorinox, and you'll be much happier.
