how long is the hoop and handle retracted, total length!

Answer: Hi Nick, this was a gift and now resides on our friends boat, so I can't measure it, but I remember when it arrived (retracted) in the box and it was approximately chin high on me, I am 5'3". I know this is not exact but hope it helps.

Answer: About 5.5 ft

Is the handle color yellow?

Answer: I don't recall color of handle. Whatever color it is, it is not offensive and no walleyes have refused to get in because of color. I really like the net. I did cut about a foot off the handle to make it more usable in my 16' boat. I think you'll like it too. Roger

I have prime and it says usually ships in 1 to 2 months? Whats the deal witht that?

Answer: I've never seen that. I always get my orders in two days.

How deep is the net

Can this land a muskie?

Answer: No, it's a nice net for a pontoon. Bass maybe northern, but not for muskie. Get a big kahuna

Answer: Not sure because I'm from the northwest and never caught a Muskie. I use it for Kokanee up to about 20 uncles and a pound. I also fish salmon and steelhead and would not use this net for them (too small and lightweight).

Answer: In my opinion it would be too small for a muskie, I use it for walleye.

Answer: if you lifted vertical maybe. the handle works for 2#-3# walleyes. I use mine bank fishing were the water is 3'-5' below me

Answer: I no longer have it in my possession as this was a gift, so I cannot measure it for you. However I remember that I was impressed with the size of the net, we fish a lot and I know this will be a great addition to our friends boat.

What kind of material is the netting made of? Is it fish/hook friendly??

Answer: yes. kind of a rubber material. very good quality handle also.

Is this a snag free net? Looking for a net that hooks wont get caught in.

Answer: I love the net , never had any trouble with my hook getting caught. I would give the net 5 stars

Pleased with the extendable handle to 8ft and the large basket size.
I will ziptie a foam swimming pool noodle to the handle to make it float (preventing it from sinking if dropped). And also a leash!
