RandomNerdGuy : Nice bargain net, kinda light, catches bait.

Overall, this net is decent. It is throwable and I have no issues with burrs on weights like another reviewer mentioned. It is also light, which makes it easy to throw far, but takes better technique to make it open well. However, the netting is softer and limp compared to mono nets, so it opens easier with lighter weights than mono nets would.

I got the 6', but my net seems more like 6'5 or 2M. It is nice enough, and I managed to catch a couple of very large shad for cut bait with a decent throw during a recent fishing trip. It took a few throws to get it to open well, but I also haven't used a cast net in a while. I don't regret the purchase.

It isn't perfect, but I got a decently functional net for $40 in a world where almost any net this size costs twice to quadruple that.

The little storage bag is nice. Rinse the net before you put it into the bag.

The nylon rope has a bit of fraying in the middle right out of the package, which I'm not thrilled about, but it's still plenty strong for now. The little neoprene wrist strap is unnecessary, but comfy and neat. I don't trust it as much as the old rope bracelet method, but it seems fine for now. I can splice an old school loop into the rope if needed.

Not the best net out there, but possibly the best nets under $50.
