Why does it say 315....I want a 130?

Answer: I do not understand the question. Please clarify.

Does it come with floats and all? What does it come with?

Answer: I had to order float separately and u do have to have pretty big one. Bogs grip is heavy but great

what float do you have for this grip?

Answer: Hi Hana I bought for my nephew and also bought the O&H 6”& 9” floats that amazon suggested from other people that ordered. One is 1lb and the other is 2lb. The bogs grip I purchased was the 60lb and it weighed 1 lb so I bought both. I’ll let the nephew choose the right one. Hope this helps. Gary.

Answer: I use a 5 inch long and 2.5 inch wide styrofoam float that is egg shaped. A plastic float would also work just fine.

Answer: I don’t use the float I use a scuba stainless steel coil cable which attaches to my belt clip

How wide is the trigger on the boga

Answer: Not sure but it only has to be wide enough to capture the fishes lip works very well

Can the 30lb handle fish bigger than 30lbs? I realize the scale doesn’t support fish beyond it’s capacity but can the gripper?

Answer: Oh yeah. This thing is extremely robust. If you can lift it, this will handle it.

Answer: Just lbs.

Will the 30 lb scale work on say an 8 lb freshwater bass? I don't need a perfect weighing, just close. Trying to figure out if I really need 2 scales.

Answer: Yes. I weigh lake trout and pike from 5-20# all the time. Best device I've used for easy catch/release.

Answer: Purchased this item for hubby. He has had some pretty large Bass and other types fish on this. Not exactly sure of the weight of his fish but they were good size and he was happy.

is it easy to read the weight? I am farsighted and sometimes can't read small or up close

Answer: It can be tough to read the etched in metal scale lines. I heard someone used paint or polish and rubbed it into the lines for contrast. But my sight isn’t the best and I can read it as is.

Answer: If you can’t read small or up close, you will need reading glasses.

Answer: Weight line numbers are about 1/8” high. Might have problems.

I sure like it. it is easy to use, easy on the fish and stands up to saltwater. I just wish the numbers were bigger as it is hard for me to see without my glasses on but I am glad I bought it and am sending to the IGFA to get certified. I plan on getting the 60# next.
