Hello what is the different between this model and PENN Spinning Reels - SSV4500. Is it good for hardtail and blue-runniners catching? Thanks.

Answer: Great reel for most any fishing up to 20 25 lbs. After that the bigger line can be a problem. Also has no reverse, makes it hard for quick casting if you are use to being able to adjust your line by simply turning the handle backwards prior to the cast, but great for trolling.

Paket kam früher als angegeben. Die Umverpackung war sehr gut. Der Karton hatte wie angegeben einige Macken,die aber bereits repariert wurden. Die Rolle selbst wies überhaupt keine Beschädigungen auf .Zur Rolle entweder man liebt sie oder nicht . Qualität ist bei ihr hoch anzusetzen.

I had purchased this just before a trip to the coast to go sharking and I was in a rush because I had just learned my former reel had paid the price of being used in salt water for years. I had done some quick research and found the penn slammer series. While there are only 2 of them you can use for sharking, I was surprised at the amount of features for the price. The fact that you can use braided line without adding a lead monolithic line directly to the reel was the selling point that caught my eye. The gear ratio is set low but not to low just right for a good fight. I landed a 50 lb hammerhead off the bob hall and the fight lasted about 45 minutes. Awesome reel, and came in 2 days with amazon prime.

Im Gegensatz zur Liveliner scheint diese Rolle zu halten was sie verspricht. Präzise Bremse, robuste Verarbeitung und ein ruhiger Lauf zeichnen diese Rolle aus. Schnörkellos und auf das Wesentliche konzentriert verrichtet sie bisher brav ihren Dienst.

Ich verwende die Rolle zum Waller angeln und bin mit der Qualität der Rolle sehr zufrieden. Ich bin im Besitz von verschiedenen Größen, die ich für das Spinnangeln auf Huchen, Hecht und Waller mit geflochtenen Schnüren verwende. Ich bin mit der Qualität aller Größen sehr zufrieden und hatte bisher noch kein Problem. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist aus meiner Sicht absolut in Ordnung. Andere Hersteller verlangen für ein derartig robustes Gerät, das gleichzeitig noch ein vernünftiges Gewicht hat, deutlich mehr.
