Current big bass champ still quanjig? 2024

So, as i sit on the couch day in and out studying and no play, i was wondering if anyone from the NOVA gang has toppled quanjigs bass of 5.14 was it? It was 5 something, it's posted just haven't checked recently. Has anyone beat this early December bass? Hmm :-/

not here. my largest this year is around 2.5lbs. I realize that is "bait" for you...but it is only early Feb. haha

I came close 2 weeks ago with one that was clearly over 5 on an UL with 4# FC..She broke off as I was about to grab her... 
She wasnt even the hawg of the group either there was one easily over 7 maybe even 8 swimming around...

I am going to start in N.C. as soon as this weather breaks. I plan on fishing there for about three weekends and then gradually work back to the Farmville area (Briery Creek) and then migrate your way so I stay in the pre spawn/spawn mode for two months. (hopefully) Well laid plans often fall apart though. Its all reliant on something as unreliable as the weather.

Well I dont work so whenever you want company i am down, I also use LH gear, we can tryout reels

i haven't even had a decent chance to go yet either the weather has been horrible or the water was hard. hopefully it warms up so i can get out on briery for some pre-spawn before the end of February. thats if it ever stops snowing.

I just shook the Magic 8 Ball and it told me you guys should all get together and plan a trip to Briery the first part of April. There is a motel right off the exit and you can make a solid weekend of it. Use that site I gave you for current updates and Wayne P. knows that lake like the back of his hand. Yea thats it...a road trip. I have to go count my jigs to make sure there is exactly 365 before I go to bed. Good night.

don't start gettin all bromantic on me now. Oh and yes there are a few chics who can catch bass around. My ole lady being one of 'em. She needs to start throwing somethin other then the senko tho. She caught several 4-5 pounders last year. And she was good for a citation yellow perch over in mattawoman a few months ago too

Yeah but she also has a habit of casting in peoples faces! 
Josh's wife on the other hand.....lucky SOB I keep on offering to trade for some of my gear but we never settled on any deals... :'(

Hey when you fish 3 people on a boat and there is a female or someone less experienced/skilled involved, faces and body parts can see some possible hooksets. One must be very careful :-? I never said she was the best caster, just said she catches bass, and that she does almost every time we go out.

The sad part is Im still not very good with takin the boat straps off the back. Gettin better tho Josh does your wifey know shes bout to get traded for 2 steezes and a 12 pack of sam adams winter ale minus two that I already drank
