If you could fish with anyone past or present how would you want in the boat with you?
Richard pryor, what can I say I like good comedy
Mark Sosin
My father we haven't gone fishing together in probably 10years now he got out of fishing when he went into a wheelchair. Hes walking now that hes got a prosthetic leg so maybe he will start to fish again. I'd love to get him and my boys out in a boat fishing together.

Don't waist your time, make it a point to do so !!
Good luck, I know how stubborn fathers can be lol !
A trip with the boys I think will help him say yes, let us know how it works out, sounds as if it would be a great day wether you catch fish or not.

Absolutely!
My dad died 24 years ago and hunting and fishing has never been the same since.
He would be my #1 choice for having in my boat.
Larry Nixon
Outside of the fishing circle, I would like to fish with Rod Serling. The Twilight Zone was an amazing show and WAY ahead of its time. Since he was around a little before my time, he remains somewhat of an enigma to me.
Professionally Gerald Swindle for entertainment or Ott Defoe just cause he's a class act. Personally some of the best people i have been on the water with is members that i have met on this forum.
Dale Earnhardt. He was an avid outdoorsman, both hunting and fishing, and growing up racing, he has always been my childhood and present day favorite!
Jeff
My father.
Tom Osborne. College football coaching legend, big time fisherman. Might let Bobby Bowden come along to.
Of course my family, love fishing with my 5 yr old can't wait for my babies to come along too but ..... professionally I would say Shaw Grigsby, I like watching his TV show and he is a North Florida guy, class act. Bed fishing and Smallies. I would like to pick his brain.....
KVD,or Jen Lopez.
I'd say Edwin Evers or Randall Tharp, I like both of those guys a lot.
Ken Huddleston would be on my list too.....
This is a tough one! I like it.

yeah probably im sure he would if it was with my boys and I. I know before hos excuse was always because he cant use his legs and he was afraid of going in but i doubt he would fall in but then again he does fall alot now. Im gonna see if he would want to after this deployment.
and professionally id wanna fish with Ike as much flak as he gets on here hes still my favorite pro
My Uncle Ron, He's an old WW2 Veteran, he's pretty much my inspiration. He pushed me to achieve my goals and got me where I am today. Also on my list is Mark Davis or Ike.
Great question, hard to say, I've got no family members who like to fish. I'm a anomaly in my family, none are interested in the outdoors. I kind of wish one of my daughters would fish with me someday. Already have a fishing buddy who is the best. Guess if it was someone new or different it would be some of you on this site that have given me advice. One day I'm going to try to make it to a road trip and meet some of the people on this site that have been so helpful.
I would love to go frogging with Dean Rojas or Ish Monroe.
jesus, he could help me get over 100000 bass a day
Doug Stange in some northern waters, my usual fishing buddies cant be beat though.
Anyone who owns property on a good striper lake would be fine by me.
Ex pro probably Hank parker pro Ike and then my grandpa who past away when I was really young I can remember fishing one time with him on the white river for trout using corn. I just remember him given me a hard time because he couldn't fish b/c he was to busy baiting my hook. Seem like I caught a fish every cast. But my grandma always tell me I got my grandpa fishing gen and I think we would have got along good.
My grandfather, easy. He was into bass fishing before it was much of a thing. I remember he had this Terry bass boat that was the state of the art when he got it. Foot-control trolling motor, sonar flasher (nobody had those back then), and a genuine livewell under the center bench complete with "electrical" water pump. He even beta-tested some Smithwick lures for the company. I still have a few of them. I can see why they never went into production. I would like to take him out on a new, fully-rigged boat, just to show him the gadgets. 360 sonar, digital imaging, 4-stroke motors, GPS, LED lighting, trolling motors, even the materials used to build the boat would blow his mind. That's before we even get to what's in the tackle box, or start using baitcasters that rarely backlash, and weigh less than 2 pounds, or fish with a spinning rod with 20# line. That would be a fun day.
Me,Myself, and I.

He'd probably tell you to fish on the other side of the boat!
No doubt I would fish with my Grandpa. He always dropped what he was doing to take me fishing. I'd love to have a 100 fish day with him in my boat. I can still hear him yelling "oh ho ho I got one!!". He sounded like Santa Claus setting the hook!
Others would be Hank Parker and Shaw Grigsby.
Oh, and of course Steve "Big O" Parks on Lake Falcon, Choke Canyon, or Amistad.
Pro: Edwin Evers.
Non pro: Kevin hart. That dude makes me laugh til i cry.
I'm with you, Scrutch, on the Big O choice. Steve's one of the greatest guys I know, and a great friend, however we have never fished together. All that comes to an end this November, when I am going down to fish with him for 5 days on Falcon. Good times!

Absolutely! Get him out there. I wish I could fish again with my father. I know he'd love how much I've progressed and I just believe in my heart that he and my husband would have spent many days out fishing.
To fish with someone living, (besides my husband) I would pick Shaw Grigsby
Al Lindner.
I lost my father some years back without having the chance to spend time on the boat with him, I still feel his presance though from time to time.
So yes it would be my dad.
If I had to choose someone from the forum there are so many to name, for the shear knowlage of structure it would be catt.
For a chance at big double digit bass, Big-O
For what I would call the best time ever, 2 names come to mind, long mike and ghoti, those guys crack me up, I can only imagine how much fun it would be.
For the chance to get to know someone that has to be RW, just a great all around kind of guy with a boat load of...tackle
For the love of it, anyone on this forum, I wish we all had the chance to fish with one another.
Denny Brauer. Best shallow fisherman around
My grandfather.
Kaley Cuoco : )...but seriously my father and he didn't fish.
Mike
My Dad...
Like Mikes father mine didn't fish either.
Mike
Staff Sergeant Omar Aceves, best team leader ive ever had, if it wasnt for him i wouldnt be the soldier i am today. He died in Afghnaistan due to an IED, im not sure if he liked fishin but i would give anything to have him alive today and fishin with his soldiers.
Without a doubt... my dad. He was the first one that took me bass fishing & was with me when I caught my first LM.
I'm going to find out. I just was confirmed as a marshal for the "mystery lake" in Green Bay. I'll take any of them. Got a 2/99 chance of KVD,Clunn.etc. I'm pumped
my grandfather who passed away when i was 3.
I'm incredibly fortunate and get to fish with my dad just about every Friday (I work 4 x 10's and he's semi-retired), so I'd have to go the celeb route with Hank Parker and Ike as a close second.
Family aside I would say Virgil Ward. I use to watch him on TV when I was little.
Outside of my kids and dad, Pro either Hank Parker or KVD. Otherwise Catt, Kent or Big O.
Family would be my great uncle that passed away last year. He was out crappie fishing and had a heart attack in the boat. Taught me so much over the years about Duck/Goose/Deer hunting as well as fishing.
For people I dont know it would be hands down Hank Parker, Bill Dance or Al Lindner. I watched these three guys shows without fail all the time when I was younger and would jump at the chance to be able to go out and fish for a day with any of them.
It'd be a toss-up between Al Lindner and Rick Clunn...decisions, decisions.

April Vokey
heidi klum
Gave it more thought.
Who would I want in the boat? If I was 30 years younger the latest Playboy Bunny.
At my age Jimmy Houston.
pro would be IKE, non pro would be my grandpa who passed away and always took me fishing. Then id have to say Eva Mendes
As far as people past go, my Dad..... He passed when I was just 32 and that was 19 years ago. I'd love to have him in my boat just one more time.
For people present...... No doubt in my mind, my Son.
my dad and pap
my DAD
I fish with my Dad quite often which I woldn't change for the world but if I could pick a well known person for a day it would be Al Lindner. Actually a few days would be better.
Zane Grey, but it wouldn't be bass fishing
My old man! He passed away when I was 16 but we had a lot of memories together on the water. My old man was in my eyes like a Jimmy Houston or a Bill Dance, man he could bass fish! I remember fishing Sardis, Enid or Grenada and constantly catching 50 or more bass a day.
Sofia Vergara!
But seriously, if he was still with us my grandpa for sure. As far as a pro or personality, Al Linder
