I'm just as happy fishing on the ice...... said no one ever
Glad we have Ar-15's, 30 round clips and a lot of coyotes to mow down to relive my stress.

Sorry man I cant hear you over the sound of freedom lol jk
Maybe its just me but when it hits the 90 mark i park the kayak, close the blinds and turn on the air conditioner. A possible 6'"of snow coming tomorrow. I can take the cold better than i can take the heat.
Not cool, not cool at all!
im with Ed. I hate extreme heat over cold. My blood runs hot. 65-70 air temperature is perfect for me. The only reason I go out in 90+ is to fish.On 2/17/2014 at 10:43 AM, aceman387 said:Maybe its just me but when it hits the 90 mark i park the kayak, close the blinds and turn on the air conditioner. ha what are you gonna be doing in august Raul!?
It was magic at 1 degree above zero this morning when I stopped to get gas. I magically made it to $27 before I had to get back in the truck.

I can remember being in high school back in the late 90s and fly fishing on creeks at this time of year having hatches that dont come off until the fifties. I actually had to dig a path from my house to the shed yesterday to get the chainsaw.
Now that August was mentioned, you ain´t gonna believe it but in August temps here are in the high 80´s low 90´s when skies clear, August is right in the middle of the rainy season so most of the time it´s cloudy and/or rainy. Yes, we do have seasons down here, the dry season from late Oct until April, and the rainy season from May until Oct. Usually March and April are the warmest months of the year, temps can get as high as 110°.
So, I´ll let you all know when we reach 110° !
Just suffering with 75-80 degree days, surface water temps at 60, height of pre spawn with excellent bass fishing the next few weeks before they move onto beds. This weekend the launch ramp had 3 bass boats, the words getting out so the boat traffic will increase and tournaments begin soon. It's been a good Feb so far.

Poor man, I mean, poor of us, we have to suffer all year long with all that heat.
We will be sure to give you our blessing when its too hot to breathe mid summer and were out jerkn their faces right off their bodies.
Cold today, hot tamale...oh, nevermind!
Yeahhh just rub it on me! 40s and 50s coming soon! Raul, just send that weather that your getting.
I officially went snow mad on January 2. We're expecting more this week.
Raul, help a Canadian brother out...I don't take up much room... :-)
Feels like t shirt weather today, 35 and sunny.
Today is going to tack another 3-6" of snow on to the 36" we already have. Yay...feels like spring!

40 and sunny here. Too bad we got 7" yesterday on top of the 15" laying down. I was hoping this quick warm up would at least reduce the snow masses but probably not too much. Mother nature hates us right now.

You keep that white stuff. We lucked out and only got an 1" the past few days. It's nice to finally see it melting.
as long as the lakes are free of ice for opener (mid may) it will be a better start than last year.
Mitch
I am looking forward to the ice out. The last 2 winters we fished straight through so it's not always this bad. Plus we don't have any heads floating in the lakes I fish from the cartels.
The upside is I am so darn organized. When I get grumpy my wife sends me to my tackle room and I play with all my tackle boxes and reels. Oh and I dislike posts from anyone south of say Missouri!
