Well I just got this from one of my buddy's. It was actually one of the highlights of my life. I got to go down and film a show with my fishing idol Roland Martin. He had to segment it into 3 parts. Its pretty entertaining and Walt Reynolds (President of Roland Martin Productions) said it was one of their highest rated shows in over 25 years. GO FIGURE. I throw the wacky rig 99% of the time. I truely believe that action out produces the Texas rig 5 to one. Roland is really a great guy. Off camers he is a riot

I saw this episode when it first aired on VS. Sadly we Directv customers don't have VS any longer. I'm hoping the dispute ends before all the fishing shows have knew episodes on. BTW did he make you drink the 5 hour energy thing?

Roland and I had a blast- They had to cut half of the show because of the blankety blanks. You know how Roland says "SON" and Berkley commercials say WOOOO! Not Team Megastrike we say Holy#^% an OH F&^% and all kinds of other good thing s-we couldnt stop laughing . Team MegaStrike the official sponsor of $^%# LOL

It is the same with Dish. I was watching some hunting shows, and scanned through to see what shows were coming on later, then all of a sudden, the channel just went blank. I swear I have not been so ticked as there were quite a few fishing shows coming on that I wanted to watch. Darn networks

Comcast owns Versus. They wanted to charge the dish companies more for access and DirecTV (et al) refused to pay the premium charges to carry the station, so they let the contract lapse.

If you Google around for Versus Comcast DirecTV you'll learn all you could care to know about the debacle.

It's definitely lousy. I'm on DirecTV, too, and it's been frustrating since September. The Bassmasters and some other coverage on ESPN2 is good, but it's not near the amount and diversity of fishing content that Versus carries.

I remember when all of the good shows were on TNN . Bill Dance- Roland -Hank -Orlando. Those were some of the most unproductive days of my life. I would say-well its too late to do anything -might as well go fishing. LOL. I had gotten the chance to go fishing with Orlando Wilson one day. He was in a restaurant in my town and I struck up a conversation with him. He said "hows the fishing here in NJ?" I said how long ya here for -he said 2 days . I said I have a brand new Ranger sitting in my driveway. What are ya doing tomorrow-he said going with you. I said I'm in. We went out the next day to a local lake and caught about 20 good bass. He is a total gentleman-one of the finest- it was the opportunity of a life time.

Just be yourself-open up your life to seize every opportunity you can/ I was fishing the other day and my buddy asked me -"If and when you go to Heaven -who do you really want to hang out with. He was thinking I Would say-Einstein/ Stephen Hawkin someone like that -I replied I want to hang with the 3 Stooges-He about fell out of the boat. I always found myself to be a doer. The reason is I hate when I look back and say "Man I should have done that" Try to live a clean /no regret life.
