I signed up a couple weeks ago, but havent received my first box yet. My coworker received his and really liked what was in it. The reviews do seem good. So thats a plus.

It's very cool and will send you baits you may not otherwise buy nor try. Some guys will try everything and some will just use what they know and put the rest away. It's all up to you in what you wanna do with them and how many different presentations you want to try/learn.

I'm on the one year plan. I've received ten boxes and so far happy. They are a good company to deal with. If you are not sure you can do the monthly subscription or three month or six month or year.

MTB Seems like good stuff. I personally used Lucky Tackle Box and loved their stuff. I compared the 2 and liked my boxed better

I'm gonna join LTB as well. Each month they seem to always send out different baits each. So I'll get twice the baits. LTB is nice with the full packs of plastics compared to 2-3 sample packs but both can be helpful.

I really like the stuff they sent me. I got Yo-Zuri lures, LiveTarget lures, KVD stuff Manns fishing lures... All good stuff

I have mtb I signed up in May. Got 2 boxes and for the most part was rather disappointed with them so far. I also received a few items that were different what other people got and those were the items disliked the most.
I still think it's a very cool service.

I got an MTB subscription starting in June (so, one box so far). I had heard about it a few times, but I pulled the trigger after watching videos on youtube.
I thought my June box was OK. Most of the lures were things that, if you put me in front of them at a bait shop, I probably wouldn't have picked them up to buy. But, I recognize that's kind of the point: to expose you to things you might not try otherwise. I'm still happy to have them (though I haven't tried them all yet). Two of my items were different than what I have seen and heard other people get in their boxes; However, both of those appeared for some people in previous month's boxes, so it seems plausible I could get the items other people got last month, in a future shipment.
I have also heard good things about Lucky Tackle box, and I will probably get that subscription soon too. As for the issue of more sample packs (MTB) vs. fewer full packs (LTB, apparently) of plastics, I think both philosophies are valid. I'm hoping the market continues to have enough room for services by multiple companies -- it's really a fantastic idea.

I signed up for 3 months of both. Received mtb last month and it wasn't to bad. I have 2 months of mtb and 3 months of ltb left. I will make a decision after that on which one I will continue to receive.
I did get a spoiler email from ltb earlier this month. There will be a live target bait in July's box. Also ltb sent me a free hoorag for Father's day. We shall see. Both of July boxes are enroute to me now.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. You can always save $10 on your first box with code TRYMTB and cancel if you are not satisfied. Most people don't cancel though

I love getting MTB. It's kind of funny that right after I learned about the ned rig on this website I got the real deal in my MTB. I've also gotten my money back in crankbaits and swimbaits.

My Family got me a year subscription, just got my first box in yesterday, felt like Christmas in July...lol. Love the stuff in it too, def worth getting if your wanting to try new things, but not wanting to buy a full pack of bait. I been looking at the Combat Frogs for awhile, glad I didn't buy one, cause I got one in the box! Sweet.

Mystery Tackle Box is really good in the winter time when there is no fishing going on. I really enjoyed receiving my boxes in November, December, January, February, March and April. Although I'm done with my one year subscription I'm going to take a break from it and will probably sign up in late fall with a six month subscription.

I stop fishing when it gets cold out and start fishing when it warms up a little in late March or April.

You are missing perfectly good fishing time! I fish from Ice-Out to Ice-In in Indiana. Mid/late February to mid/early December. Then I fish elsewhere...
