40,000 Members! Can You Believe It!? 2024

fishing user avatarLong Mike reply :

BassResource today reached another milestone!  Today we surpassed a Member Listing of 40,000!  This makes BR the most popular bass fishing website in the world!  Personally, I want to say that I am very proud to be an active member of this website, and am doubly proud of the members who have made this site such a success.  With your active participation in the forums and with your open recognition of the quality our Sponsors, BassResource has become THE "Go To" bass fishing site.

I suppose I need to mention that Glenn also had some minimal input into making this site a success.  I'm speculating that his input consisted of no less than sixty hours a week, in addition to a full time job.  That's one huge ATTABOY to Glenn, and to Keri, who has to put up with him, or more probably, without him.

fishing user avatarLucky Craft Man reply :

That is a pretty cool milestone.  Remember Low Budget Hooker who used to be very active on here (I wonder what ever happened to him)?  He made a video for when Bass Resource hit 10,000 members and here they are at 40,000 members.  Great site and great accomplishment.

fishing user avatarTuckahoe Joe reply :

Awesome!  Congrats to Glenn and all the mods who dedicate their precious time to making this fantastic site what it is!

And what about member 40,000?  Does he get a prize or something?  Somebody get that man a t-shirt!

Congratulations are in order for the new milestone.

Sounds like you're going to need an assistant spell/grammar checker.

This is no secret, since the first time on this site I knew it was something special!  Congrats BR members and staff! Keep up the good work and humble yourself this is only the beginning!

Fact check: "This makes BR the most popular bass fishing website in the world!"

One of the sites I visit has more than double that number and it is just about one state ---- Texas.

Yes, but Texas is in a world of its own.

fishing user avatarTexfisherman reply :

Congrats to BR! It's the members that make this site rise above the rest. Well deserved!

fishing user avatarslonezp reply :

Finally. I can start slacking off now. Making all these worthless posts is tiring.

fishing user avatarGlenn reply :

Fact check Wayne - the site you mention is about many species of freshwater AND saltwater fish. Our primary focus is bass fishing.

So yes, that makes us the most popular BASS FISHING site in the world!

fishing user avatarA-Jay reply :

 Congrats on 40,000 and growing . . . . .

I believe it has been The Quality and not the Quantity that has enabled BR to enjoy this success.

I was wondering what LBH was up to, as well. I enjoyed a lot of his posts.

And, congrats to BR! It's great to see this place grow in popularity.

Thanks to Glenn and the mods, for the work you do.
