Well, I caught this fish last weekend, and some of you saw my report in the outtings section, but I wanna know what you others think. How big do you think this fish is? Most everyone thought it was bigger than my scale read, but who knows. I will see if my scale is off when I get to it next weekend. Its a digital berkley one that goes up to 50lbs.
Let me know what you think
I would guess five maybe six but I would think five is more accurate
I gonna say 6lbs. 4oz. Pretty respectable fish in my book. I don't know though, that belly is awful big....Might go 6lbs. 8oz. ;D
I would guess 5lbs 12 oz...
I forgot an important detail, this fish had another fish in its mouth, its tail was sticking out of its throat and it looked like it was a decent sized bass in there, definetly wasn't a shad or perch. Keep guessing, your all close
Like I said in the other post .... It looks in the 6.5 range to me.
My guess is 7.1.
6.5 to 7 lbs
6.25 lbs.
I'll let you guys know tomorrow, but I'm going to tell you that my scale read this fish as under 6 lbs. :-[
i have trouble believing that that fish is under 6 pounds :-?
before I weighed it so did it. It could be my scale, but I'll check it and report back with "actual" weight.
Over 6, less than 7..going to say 6lb 8oz
5lb. 10oz.
every bit of 5 6 1/2 wouldnt shock me ill go with 5lb 9oz
I don't know how big you are and that would certainly help so here goes anyway---5lbs 4ozs.
I'd have to guess it's at least 5 to 5 ¼, good solid fish

I'm with Catt.
5.5-7lbs.
5 to 5-1/2 range.
5 lb 13 oz.
I based this on the fact that your hand is approximately 4 inches wide which makes the fish about 21.5 inches long. I plugged this into the weight calculator and there you go!
Awesome fish regardless, but it really looks darn close to 6lbs.
Is she still swimming?

Of course she is, only time we dont release is if our grandpa wants some fish, and anything over 2.5 we put back pretty much no matter what.
It looks bigger, but I'm going 5 even!
Good guesses everyone, but BPM2000 was closest. The scale read the fish being 5.2 pounds.
I'm going back to the lake today, hopefully will catch another biggun. ;D
Nope, bpm200 said 5.0 For a specific weight Justfishin was closest, 5.25
Catt and I guessed 5- 5 1/4 (5.0- 5.25).
Didnt u know roadwarrior, this is the price is right. You have to be the closest without going over. lol. ;D

i def say in between 6 and 7 lbs...
nice fish by the way
4lb. 9 oz.
What are you guys doing? The "guessing" is over.

Thank you very much roadwarrier
An easy and accurate way to check any fish scale is to put a(or two) full bag of sugar or flour in a plastic grocery sack and hang it from the scale. Commodities have to weigh what the bag says it weighs(plus a fraction of an ounce or so?).
Dan
She looks bigger, if I didn't know I would have guessed 6lbs even.
