well we just did the over rated lures, now the best under rated lures. 3" 1/4 or 1/8 oz twister tail soaked in wd-40. daily bag limit priceless!
Johnson Spoon
inline spinners!
Arbogast Mudbugs.
spoons have all but disappeared from our tackle boxes i know i dont have any becuase its not practical to fish them in my home lake
The small Storm Hot n' tot in silver. Bass murder it consistently.
Chartruse and white double willow bladed spinner bait. Been around for 30 years and still catches alot of fish if there's alittle ripple on the water. Can be fished shallow or deep, fast or slow! ;) ;)I always keep one close.
Spoons are underrated for bass - Silver Minnow for top water, Kastmasters for shallower water and Daredevyls for deeper presentations.
LFT Live Magic Shad
BIG bettle spins...haha they always catch fish

Use the LFT Live Magic Shad as a trailer on the
Swarming Hornet. This was KILLER for me
last week on Pickwick.
Note: The lure is fished by reeling, then letting
the lure drop vertically on slack line. The blade
lifts the bait. Do not lift your rod, this only moves
the Hornet forward, not up. Strikes will always
occur on the fall. As you resume your retrieve,
set the hook if you feel anything.
8-)
I've taken the skirt off of a chatterbait and put on a LFT Live Magic Shad and absolutely murdered the fish!! Its just a great all around bait!!
1/4 once Beetle spin and Mimic Minnow with spinner. These work great when fish are reacting to larger spinnerbaits, but not hitting them.
swimjigs
I don't know about best but they where under rated strike king tube lizard. What I liked about the tube lizard was it pushed more water than a tube when you pitched it. It also was a great deep water bait to fish around structure.
Yamamoto double tail hula grub.
it can be fished many ways..
like a jig, hop it, slow reel it...or swim it..
X3 on the Live Magic Shad....it's a killer... and versatile too!!
Creme lit'l fishie ..... yes , they catch fish !!!!
blakemore road runner's
Jig and curlytail grub.
rebel crickhoppers
I have to agree with the comment up a bit about Roadrunners. Definitely underrated, but....this is one lure that could use a "quality" adjustment! If they just made it with better swivels and better quality blades, then this would be a dynamite lure.
Great smallie lure.
Spoons...
x2 jig and grub if the bites cold these will still produce.
A roostertail and a daredevil, These two will catch fish anywhere in the US.
Mepps #5 Spinner. Black Blade Red Dots. I have caught all species with this. Something about that hair.
Daiwa Peanut

wd-40 for real ; :-?
+3 For the Jig and Grub
A good old fashioned nightcrawler and bobber too!
Helicopter Lure. Nothing beats it through duck weed!
QuoteJohnson Spoon
In my mind without doubt.
Spoons will catch almost any game fish any where in the world fresh or salt and even at night. My preferences are kastmaster or tsunami for windy conditions, mepps, and for benign conditions I like a generic spoon from my local tackle shop, $2.50.
I fish spoons probably 80% of the time, love a Wahoo redfish spoon for LMB or peacocks. Not all spoons have the same action, only one i don't like is a krocodile.
