What ultra light lures do you guys have great luck with when it comes to wading or fishing small streams?
I know ultra lure fishing will catch anything from panfish up to bass.
any colors/types you use that you can share?
I have had luck on very small rapala crankbaits for bass and crappie. I also have had luck on black rooster tails with a silver blade when fishing for trout.
My ultra light spinnerbaits in blood red, black, and white have done well and in cooler water temps allow for a slower retrieve. Ive used many different tubes meant for panfish but generally only for white bass.
Tubes work well, as do small roostertails.
I never thought about rooster tails. I have them for my bigger outfits, didn't think of UL's
!/8th ounce Rattle Trap , Strike King Rocket Shad / Bitsy Bug / Mini spin ,all kinds of small soft plastics to name a few .
I caught so many smallmouth on the rebel wee craw it's for sure my favorite ultra light crank also catch a lot of panfish on it too!
so it sounds like all ul lures are fair game......

Pretty much. Inline spinners, small crankbaits, and small tubes and grubs especially do a good job for stream smallies, panfish, and trout. I don't think color matters that much, but I like black, golds, oranges, yellows, and reds in the streams I usually fish, which have a brownish stain.
The original Rapala minnow size 03 floating and count down in fire tiger and black back/silver.

#1 super special top secret bait for this situation:
1/8 oz panther Martin spinner. Black one with yellow dots and the good blade.
Might look like this (notice it's already tied on)
Bucktail jigs, inline spinners, small rapala shallow divers.
My top two are the spro phat flies and Lake fork baby shad with the ball tail on the Bps premium jigs with the Gammy hooks.
1/16 and 1/8 ounce Rooster Tails. I try and stick to the lighter colors.
Sassy shads and grubs on small jig heads, rooster tails, rebel craws, crickhoppers, and beetle spins.
One lure I haven't seen mentioned yet is 1/8 kastmaster spoons. These have the benefit of casting much farther than other lures in the same weight class.
The smallest two sizes of Rebel Craw. It seems everything in a creek will bite that.
Grubs, tube jigs, 1/16 or 1/8 Roadrunners, Rebel Miniatures like the Bumblebug.
Yo Zuri Pins Minnow
Small Rooster tails (longer blades spin closer to the body and have less lift, which is helpful in faster currents of a river).
TINY Kastmasters or Pheobe spoons
Road runners, beatle spins, very small crankbaits, and a bait called the Inch Minnow.
1/8oz Yellow Rooster Tail. It'll catch anything in a creek or river.

if i'm not throwing the black/gold one i showed above, it's the same size and brand, but yellow w/ red dots and silver blade.
if you can't catch on one of those two, there may not be any fish in your waters!

I know we're getting off topic here, but where do you get one with red dots? Is it a Worden's?
Streams? In-line spinners, beetlespins, small spinnerbaits, small grubs, lots of stuff.
If you have a couple feet of depth, I love tossing the Strike King Bitsy Pond Minnow...

joes flys 1/4 oz bass size, fire tiger Apache, black gnat, white Miller, mellow yellow
a guy here entered a contest for the biggest bass to win a new corvette. He had the boat at the landing with a rod with a snap bean in the water. He won the vette.

+ on both of the above. I've had pretty good results with the smallest size Rebel Crickhopper too.

snap beans
so disappointing, those snap beans are not sold at any stores. Ebay sells knock offs, and the ones that are legit, are far and few between. Anyone know of any other stores that sell these beans?
those are cool little cranks
