For weeds I like the lethal weapon IV swim jig. It comes in a 1/4 ounce you could use. It has a very pointy head that comes through weeds very well. It has a lighter weedgaurd than some so it's sot the best around heavy wood though.
Are you having continued decent luck with the SK jig and looking for more, or is your action falling off with it? If it's the latter I would stick with what has worked and first change up retrieve, then colors, maybe go to a bluegill type color, then consider changing trailers, if you are using any. If you aren't then you should try a curlytail grub or maybe a small swim-bait as a trailer.
In my limited swim jig experience it seems like the fish are extremely sensitive to the type of retrieve.
If that doesn't do it then it might be that it's time to switch tactics altogether and abondon the swim jig for now.
I don't fish a swim jig very often. As far as brand I love D&L jigs. They may or may not be readily available to you. They're local to me but I don't know how widely they're distributed.
Check out strike king swinging swim jig. No weed guard, rig the plastic weedless and it comes through almost anything. Also has a different action.
I would add a couple of color options to go with the sexy shad. I will throw 3 main colors...Black/Blue, Chartreuse/White, and a Bluegill pattern. I also use 3 different soft plastic trailers...curly tail, swimbait, and craw. Lately I have also used a willow blade as a trailer, especially a gold blade on the Chart/White jig to imitate a Golden Shiner.
Revenge Swim Jigs in 1/4oz, orange chameleon has produced best for me this year, followed by a C+C Custom Baits 1/4 in bluegill, both with a Zoom UV Speed Craw trailer.
I fish Siebert Outdoors exclusively: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Swim-Jigs_c10.htm
The trailers I like are the Rage Tail Structure Bug, Shellcracker and Menace.
Chris McCall's Rayburn Swimjig by Santone Lures!

This is one of the new colors I am getting ready to release with a few other new colors. Its our Sexy Shad Swim Jig.
Dirty Jigs is the only way. They have an awesome Finesse Swim Jig
Santone chris mccall
Tons of colors...and the design of the head makes the swimjig roll side to side like a crankbait...very unqiue feature
i fish two options and the jigs are very different. I love the serbert jigs and fish them most often. He made me an ayu color that has worked very well with the keitech fat impact. I also like the keitech jig but there very expensive. the hook is in the bait and works like a standard swimbait hook

I really like the Dirty Jigs swim jigs as well. The one thing I have found with their "finesse" swim jig is that light wire hook will not hold bass in heavy vegetation. That light hook will flex and the bass will get off before I can get to them. Their regular swim jig works well in the heavy weeds (and the finesse work great in more open water situations).

that's nice Mike! i love that peppered black head on the swim jigs and i've done well on your "lavender shad" or whatever that one is with the purple accents.
Thanks for all the replies, i may have to get one of many brands in .25 oz with varying colors, and see which ones i like best!
I use North Star Baits Original Swim Jig in 1/4oz and 5/16oz and the Flip and Swim Jig in 3/8oz and 1/2oz for heavy cover...
I like the sk hack attack swim jigs. tried lots of different brands and none have a skirt that flares like the hack attack. i hate it when the skirt just lay back on the trailer when swimming.

What trailer ?
Rage craw on darker colors, single tail grub or rage menace on the white one... Haven't caught a fish using swim bait style trailers at all this year.
I've had good success with the Terminator Swim Jigs. I like that they have the quick skirts on them as well so I can swap colors easily. My 2 most commonly used trailers are a Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper, and a Kalins grub
Lethal Weapon 2 and Brovarney swim jigs are the only swimjigs that I throw anymore. I always have at least one tied on at all times.
If you ever get the chance to swing by La Crosse, Wisconsin make sure to stop by Island Outdoors. They are basically the headquarters of Lethal Weapon lures and they have some pretty good stuff there.
If you haven't tried a zero gravity jig give it a shot! I love tossing it in the shallows on my spinning gear. I typically use a chigger craw or a 4 in keitech impact for trailer.
I also picked up some booyah baby swim jigs from ffo for $1 last month and love them as well. I believe they are 3/16th oz.

Try the gambler little ez on the sk hack attack. the blue gill jig w/copperfield little ez is a killer.
Pepper Custom baits Fred Roumbanis Swim Jig is my absolute favorite. For trailers I like a zoom swimmin' chunk, Mister Twister Split Double Tail, Missile Baits Twin Turbo, and LFT Live Boot Tail Magic Shad.
