Your Favorite Brand Of Lures. 2025

fishing user avatar*Hank reply :

What's you're favorite bait company?

Mine is deffently strike king because they work well and have a large variety of deferent lures,

What's yours?...

fishing user avatarMaster Bait'r reply :

Has to be Megabass. They are some sexy baits. Wish I could afford more of them!

fishing user avatar*Hank reply :

Ya there pretty awesome defently the best but I can't afford them the most I spend on lures are on Lucky crafts.

fishing user avatarAlonerankin2 reply :

All time favorite is Rapala, with Lucky Craft very close, on the lower price spectrum I give Xcalibur excellent praise...

fishing user avataraavery2 reply :

Lucky Craft, they hit the sweet spot for price and performance IMO.

fishing user avatarRaul reply :

Most of my cranks are Rapala, most of my soft plastics are Zoom, most of my spinnerbaits are Strike King.

fishing user avatardeep reply :

Umm Mattlures?

Not the baits I fish most often, not the ones I catch most or the biggest fish on, but definitely my favorite.

Get some.

fishing user avatarCatch and Grease reply :

I like Strike King and Zoom a lot but man it's hard to call a bait company a favorite...

fishing user avatarDyerbassman reply :

Berkley Havoc. I use the Pit Boss and Craw Fatty with everything.

fishing user avatarbuzzed bait reply :

another vote for lucky craft.  siebert jigs are hard to beat as well.

fishing user avatarRoLo reply :

I have no brand loyalty at all

Lucky Craft for me, hands down.

fishing user avatarBlues19 reply :

I really like Strike King. They have so much, whether its hard baits, soft baits (Rage Tail are wicked), spinnerbaits...  I dont just get Strike King, but I do like their products

fishing user avatarfisherrw reply :

megabass, lucky craft and for budget strike king

fishing user avatarFloridaFishinFool reply :

Berkley!

fishing user avatarBaitMonkey1984 reply :

Berkley Havoc, I love the uniqueness of these baits and they all catch fish. The cheap price is an added bonus. Storm Arashi square bills come in a very close second.

fishing user avatarHogsticker reply :

Duo Realis, yo Zuri, and Spro are my top 3. I think I own more River2Sea than anything though.

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

I like them all.

fishing user avatar*Hootie reply :

Too many good ones out there for me to nail down a favorite. About the time I would make a choice,

I would make a new discovery. Last season it was Venom. Their plastics have really impressed me.

Hootie

fishing user avatarChief 2 reply :

I have a wide variety, but this past summer I started using Live Target lures and had great success with them. Recently received a River 2 Sea lure and it looks like it has potential.

fishing user avatarSenko lover reply :

Strike King has you covered for any technique or bait, which is a pretty impressive accomplishment. They get my vote.

fishing user avatarDjf3864 reply :

I buy all different kinds of lures, as many others have said I am not brand loyal.  I do have some favorites though; Strike King, Yamamoto, and Terminator probably round out my top 3.

fishing user avatarww2farmer reply :

I use Berkley soft plastics, mostly Havoc with a few Powerbait and Gulp products mixed in

I make my own jigs

I use Strike King hard baits, frogs, and spinner baits

VMC and Mustad terminal tackle

fishing user avatarscaleface reply :

Rebel  , when they made Deep Wee Rs.   Today, I dont know. I still use Jelly Worms and Salt Craws .

fishing user avatarjbw252 reply :

I'm not brand loyal, but I do have favorites.  Strike King, Berkley, and Yo-Zuri to name a few.

fishing user avatarMainelyBASS reply :

A lot of people have mentioned Strike King and how they work so great. I agree 100%! I am a Strike King guy as well. The real selling point for me are their prices. Soft plastics not so much, while I still use them, there isnt a lot of money to be saved by using Strike King soft plastics. The hard baits are a different story. Best baits for the price IMO. For someone like myself who watches the Elite Series or even MLF, seeing the pros use baits and being successful goes a long way in selling a product. That's the reason I always giggle when I see someone like Lucky Craft selling a crankbait for $24 in the same aisle that Strike King is selling a crankbait for almost $20 less. This is a great example of how lures catch fisherman and not just fish. Lucky Craft has Strike King beat when it comes to the flashy, pretty, blingy paint jobs, but when I watch pros use crankbaits who are successful, Strike King is responsible for more winnings than Lucky Craft, I would imagine. Of course a lot can be said to who is the fisherman using the baits also. Maybe if KVD was sponsored by Lucky Craft this would be a different conversation. Or if Greg Hackney used $8 jigs instead of the $3.99 jig he designed himself. All i can say is Strike King lures work very well, and they are very affordable.

Pretty much this exactly

fishing user avatarHoosierHawgs reply :

Berkely and Xcalibur. I really like the quality of Xcalibur for the price, and Berkley just flat out catches fish.
