I was wondering how many of you all buy the real GY Senkos? I bought one pack of the real deal ones and have bought the BPS stick-o's ever since. Even if you hate the good ole senko you know you've fished one!
I've bought one pack of senkos ever, and I caught exactly one fish on them.

I really don't enjoy fishing a senko so I try to fish it as little as possible, but if I'm failing to catch fish I'm known to throw on a senko and see if I can't at least get the skunk out of the boat!
They're ability to get bites is undeniable.

Hey bird dog, I like your siggy!
never bought a bag of GY senkos in my life. i've fished with them though. just a few that i've borrowed from friends etc. i buy *** trick sticks or yum dingers.
I buy them. Still the best action in that style of bait, imo.

i should note that i have bought Kinami though, which is essentially the exact same bait. this was when i first found out about this style of bait.
I go through about 30+ bags of GY senkos a year. I will not fish any other brand.
i prefer the GYCB senko over all the others & why not when you can get them for a great price through one of our forum sponsors!

I only fish GYCB Senkos. They are the best. I love fishing Senko's because you know that youre gonna catch fish. If your not catching then there are no fish in your lake.

How do you guys fish these things? :

I do.
Because they work.
I must have 10 pounds of Senkos.
Once you see that line moving you will be "hooked" on Senkos.
Ask Craig for his special secret Senko discounts. ;D ;D
I'm not posing this question because I am wondering how effect they are or how to rig them. Iv'e fished the heck out of a senko before! I'm just interested as to who actually pays for the real deal GYM product, and if so why!?!?
I buy the 3" ones as a dropshot bait, but in the larger sizes I'll usually go with a different brand unless I find a really good deal on the GYCB's
I buy the stick-o's, and the yum dingers I really find the price On GY baits outrageous!
I probably have 10-15 bags left from last year. I will only buy them if I can find that at a discount.
Yum Dinger is my favorite sub for them.
weightless T-rig or wacky they are tough to beat though.
I buy them because nothing else has the same action. But I don't fish them often, for me they are another tool that have their place in certain situations. I just have more confidence in other baits and techniques.
I pay for them because, at least to this point, they are my number one producing bait. My hangup on trying any similiar bait is the worry it will not have the same action as the Senko.
You many lose a little action with an alternative bait such as a BPS stick-o or a Yum Dinger, but they are much tougher baits and last longer than the super soft GY producut. (and cost a fraction of the price)
I love skipping them under docks, the GY senkos break up much easier than other brands. So I tried kinimai and yum through a stretch of docks with one small bass, then went thru the same stretch with GY and caught three bass with one going close to 4 pounds! The reason is the weight I think because the GY is heavier, one I can skip farther, and also sink rate. Nothing but GY for me!

Why ? Because they make the best stickworm, yes they cost more but are worth it in my opinion. The Yum Dinger has a similiar action but falls slower, I also throw that on occasion. That said I prefer fishing more aggresive baits like cranks & swimbaits, I turn to weightless Senko's only when other methods aren't producing. Even when fishing soft plastics I usually opt for heavy T-rigs over weightless slow presentations if I can get away with it.
Kinami and GY are the same
