I have a couple of the 3/8oz swimg jigs in bluegill color. They're truly the best. I use either rage craw trailer or a paddle style swimbait. Now I just need to get some more colors.

Will do RW. I tried the Rage shellcracker but not my favorite on a swim jig. I prefer those for pitching in weeds or rage rigging. Always in the hunt for good trailers on swim jigs. They're almost always tied on every time I go out.

The swim jig as a whole does not get as much credit as it deserves.

This Bloody Shad swim jig is just awesome in look, performance and quality.

Well I just placed seven orders for jigs with "Mike the Jig Man". Looks like another order for those bloody things too. Next month for sure. They look great.

I also like the bluegill color. Match it with honey candy menace vertical, keitech swing impact FAT (pro staff special), RI skinny dippers, even a berkley subwoofer.

Very good for fishing submerged weeds......the trailers are not my original ideas....credit to kickerfish

It sounds like we have a world class jig maker right here on our bass forum. That's awesome I been looking for quality jigs. Plus he makes them to order too. I don't think we can do any better.

I have a lot of weeded over spots to fish and no one fishes these over grown places because of the weeds. I think the swim jig will break the weed barrier there. These places drop off very quickly and some have 9' deep holes too. I think the swim jig just maybe the hot ticket.

I think tomorrow is my day 1 of fall bass fishing. It's up at 3:30am and on the shore before first light. I'll start off with topwater in the dark, then cranks, then spinnerbaits as it gets lighter I'll bust the deeper weeds with swim jigs figuring the bass will move there as it gets lighter. I might try some froggin around the Lilly pads too. I hope I can hook up with the big gals when there still near the shore line. At around 9am I'm heading home. I'll be fishing 24/7 for as long as I can.

I hit the open water near the weeds first. Today the weeds appear to be submerged that could be a plus.

I really enjoy watching the night turn to day. What a wonderful world we live in. A fisherman or fisherwoman has the best workplace other than a logger I've done both.

I started fishing in July, so in still making my way through different lures and techniques. I've been seeing lots of posts about jigs lately -- and how they're effective as the weather cools.

I'm a bank angler exclusively. I'm using a spinning setup with 20lb braid with 12lb fluoro leader (as needed) on a Okuma Reflexions medium rod. I've had success recently with KVD Caffeine Shad on the main pond I fish, but the bite has slowed my last few trips. Caught 2 on a chatterbait with baby brush hog trailer most recently.

Do you think I would be a good candidate for a swim jig? I keep loading up Siebert's website and not really sure what I should get -- if anything.

I only use 2 different trailers on the Siebert Outdoors Bloody Shad Swim Jig. The 5" single tail Yamamoto grub and the 4" Yamamoto Swim Senko.

This past week I only used the Swim Senko as a trailer and the fish we slamming it really hard.

Even 2 pounders felt like they were 5 pounds.

It is going to be about 25 degrees cooler this week when I am out there so hopefully the bite is still hot.

I don't know if there is anyone that isn't a good candidate for a swim jig. My oldest boy will be 7 next week and he has several swim jigs in his little tackle bag.

I would suggest buying a couple of the 1/4 oz Bloody Shad swim jigs from Siebert Outdoors and just give them a try. Once you get familiar with them you can experiment with different sizes for depth, distance, etc.

Good call, that is a GREAT idea for my boys stocking stuffers a couple jigs a piece, split a pack of trailers between the two of them

I also gives me an excuse why I need to order the jigs BEFORE I get my new reel

I can forget about me getting any Christmas presents with all the new rods, New spinning reels, New bait caster reel I purchased these last two months besides all the lures and plastics. I been a bad, bad, man lately. I even purchased over 50 siebert outdoors jigs too. Can we have too much fishing stuff? I don't think so.

I received my box from Siebert today! 2 compact spinnerbaits, two chatterbaits, 3 swim jigs, 3 arky jigs. They look fantastic!

If it wasn't for a sick daughter this week, I'd be on the bank right now.
