If I had to pick between 5 frogs my list would be.....what would yours be?
I only need one...the Booyah Pad Crasher, it's super easy to walk, it's cheap, and it's soft. The only downside is it gets worn a bit because of the softness. Thanks, Will W.
Stanley ribbit bull frog, I like that extra inch.. It gives the frog a much bigger profile
1 and 2 are a toss up between KVD sexy frog and booyah pad crasher
3. rage toad
4. spro bronze eye popper
5. livetarget
I don't have a "favorite" I like them all. I guess right now I am liking the Booyah ones the best becuase they work just as well as $10 frogs for half the price, and they are not junk either.

x2
booyah pad crasher and KVD sexy frog for hollow frogs and I really like the berkley kicker frog for soft plastics.
Not much for frogging here...only have had luck with Spro frog and friend gave me River2sea spittin wa frog which i'll try in early summer.
Bronzeye 65
Bronzeye Jr
Bronzeye Shad
R2S Spittin' Wa 70
Gambler Cane Toad
Koppers Live Target is the one for me.....
Koppers Live Target
R2Sea Spittin Wa for popper style
My absolute favorite topwater hollow bodied lure is actually not a frog. I really like the Live Target Field Mouse. I have had some serious blow-ups when I would find a pocket in the pads, bring the head of the mouse on the edge of the pad, and then just quiver the legs and tail of the mouse is the opening.
Great bait LCM. Highly overlooked in my opinion.
Snag proof's phat frog and poppin fattie for hollow bodies and gamble cane toads and stanley ribbits for soft bodies. I can't wait to try the Damiki air frogs when it warms up.
Enjoy the mouse myself .... The MLT Rat N Rat is another one with the Colorado Blades as feet that get it done.On 2/15/2014 at 10:13 PM, Lucky Craft Man said:My absolute favorite topwater hollow bodied lure is actually not a frog. I use 6 different hollow body frogs, I use the pad crashers and snag proof Guntersville, and bleeding frog, spro bronzeye popper and regular, and lastly the KVD frogs. My favorite are the KVD then the spro 65's but I typically only use them in tournaments, as I go through too many of them otherwise. I use the pad crashers and the snag proofs for prefishing and fun fishing as they are cheeper to replace, but they do work well also.

Pad crasher followed by
Live target
Scum Frog.
Bronze Eye

#1 all day Manns super frog in cypress green
Booyah Pad Crasher is the only one I need although I like the Poppin Pad Crasher too
Bronzeye & Spittin Wa
Popping pad crasher. It walks well and the poping action makes all the difference in the world. I simpy do not throw non-poping frogs anymore.
I need a big, as in 5/8 to 7/8 oz, frog sometimes so the spitin wa 70 is someting I look forward to throwing this season.
I really like the design of the popping pad crasher. I'd pay over well over $10 for one if they made them so the paint dosen't rub off and in larger sizes with more colors.
It can walk with the best of em, pop with the best of em and crawl over matted vegetation as well as anything else. The body is soft and the hooks are good.
I like the LIVETarget Frog for it's ability to stand up straight and being soft for better hookup. With every frog I've tried they still miss sometimes. Add a trailer frog hook by lake fork it will guarantee 3/4ths of your fish stay on.
Gambler Cane Toad
Zoom Horny Toad
I use the Jackal Iobee frog, and I have 1 SPRO in the killer gill color.
Koppers Live Target mouse is really the only hollow body bait ill throw, if I do pick up a frog, its either a Spro or Koppers.
Whatever you do, don't try the Z man pop frogz

My go to frog. You can buzz it pop it or walk it almost! I caught two fish over six lbs. on back to back casts and multiple others last spring!
I also like the KVD frogs
I really like the new spro shad. I think the best made over all frog is the snag proof ish's phat frog.
Koppers Live Target 55
Booyah Pad Crasher
Spro Bronze eye
Tru Tungsten Madd Max
Scumfrog popper
black furbit
white furbit
natural furbit
tru tungsten
spro popper
Academy's H2O does the trick for me.
1. Megabass Pony Gabot frog. If they were more durable or less expensive, this would be one of the only frogs I'd throw. It truly is outstanding, and gets bit when other frogs, including the Spro Bronzeye, don't.
2. Spro Bronzeye, both sizes. A massive selection of colors, most of which are great, and some of the better and more durable terminal tackle I've found. Hookup ratios and action are great, and they cast and skip really well.
3. Booyah Pad Crasher. In my opinion about the same level of quality as the Live Targets at a much better price.
4. Spro Bronzeye Poppin' Frog. Action, hookup ratio, castability, color selection... All the advantages of the original Bronzeyes, but with a different profile and sound. The only downsides are the reduction in weedlessness and a tendency to rip out at the mouth.
5. Spro Bronzeye Big Daddy. Definitely a unique frog, that does everything it's supposed to do correctly. All the positive traits of the other Spros, but with a much larger profile and more of a walking action straight from the package.
1.) 42 Tackle Company 42 Toad
2.) Ribbit (42 toad has kind of taken this one's place)
3.) River2Sea Spittin' Wa
4.) Live Target Field Mouse
5.) Lunker Hunt Frog
This thread makes me want to break out the frog rod. Just another week or so for frogging season to start!

how is the Lunker Hunt frog holding up for everyone? Does it take on water faster than others?
I throw a little bit of everything. I really prefer the popping style frog.
1Scum frog the old school popping frog the white one with the little scum circle on the belly.
2 & 3 bronze eye regular and popping style with the legs trimmed.
4 tournament scum frog
5 my absolute favorite it's the seismic frog. I rig it with a 5/0 Trokar flipping hook. I've caught tons of good fish on this frog. I like the option of pausing it and letting it sink if one misses it.
hows the jackall iobee? almost bought one once
I hot glued the little legs in and have never had a problem. On 3/7/2014 at 5:39 AM, Aluma-Bass said:Spro bronzeye

I use spro for years, then tried Booyah's Pad Crasher. They both work about the same, but the Pad Crasher is A LOT more durable for a lot less money, bye bye spro.
bronzeye popper
furbit
