What is your preferred plastic when fishing a carolina rig?
I usually throw 7 and 10 inch worms and some 7 inch lizards. I will be mostly fishing deep water structure 20-30 feet in clear water.

5-7 inch stick bait in a color that produces in your area would be an excellent choice.
Other options would be:
- Lake Fork Ring Fry
- Creature bait (Sweet Beaver, Kreature, Brush Hog, Ragetail)
- Long Trick worm...
Lizard is popular as its easy dining but still displaces enough water.
Do those rage tail baits float or sink?
Rage Tail Eeliminator
Zoom trick worms get the call most of the time for me.
First is eeliminator, then I move to a smokin rooster, then Space monkey, then I give up and throw a crankbait.

Without a doubt, esp. if the lake holds big fish.
The action of that thing in the water is amazing!

Have plenty of rage craws, baby craws and anacondas... but looks like I need some more.

My sentiments exactly... second to that is the Smokin Rooster... and only if I run out of Eeliminators Touch the tail with chartreuse JJ's and it's GAME ON!
I hope this isn't taken as a plug for my own designs, it's my honest opinion

Heavy Salt = Sink
Looks like I am going to have to invest in some rage tails. Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I flip and pitch the rage tail craws and I really like them.
Like the Lizard for CR.
Lizard for me to
Zoom 6" Lizard, and trick worm !
I like a brush hog or lizard unless the water is clear, then I'll go with a trick worm or fish doctor.
Baby Brush Hog or Tube. When the bit is tough I'll go to a finnese worm or French Fry worm.
4-6" lizards, Super Flukes, Brush Hogs, 7" Rage Tail Anacondas, or 10" Powerworms.
My favorites are the Rage Lizard and the Eeliminator, but a couple years ago, I caught 10 bass in 10 casts on a Carolina rigged 7" Watermelon Red Anaconda with chart JJ's on the tail. I was sold on the C rig after that.
Fluke Jr. and a speed craw.
I like Grande Bass Rattlesnakes a lot on a c-rig.
Zoom Baby Brush Hogs and Yum F21 Salleemanders
Zoom Lizards or baby brush hogs.
ill pretty much throw anything, im really excited to try smallswimbaits this year
I know it's just opinions and suggestions, but pick
up one bag of Eeliminators and give 'em a try. Trust
me, there is no downside.

For the eeliminators, what is an all around good color for them? I have the Blue Pearl Black Flake and I haven't c-rigged em yet nor have I gotten bit rigging any other way...
Black w/ Blue Flake; Watermelon w/ Red & Black Flake
