I may start a war here but what are some of your favorite bait company's and baits?
I love zoom baits, they are cheaper than most and catch just as many fish. As for types, trick works, flukes, and most of their creature baits.
Love Rebel Pop-r's and anything rapala is almost always quality but $$$. I like strike king spinnerbaits and for roosters the only choice is mepps. Senko's are my goto stick baits but again, $$$. I like a lot of what lake fork makes I always seem to catch quality fish with their bait.
Strike King, Zoom, Huddleston, 22nd Century, Mike Shaw, Moreau Baits
Edit: Forgot all about my first go to bait ever, the almighty Senko
Netbait,Zoom,*** Jigs,Chompers!
Don't really have one favorite.

I like Megastrike, Netbait, and Siebert Outdoors probably the best. Great results with them and they make high quality products.
I do like a ton of baits on the market, but if i look at the ones that i most often grab and have confidence in it would probably go...
1) berkley havoc, specifically the pitboss, crawfatty, bottom hopper, sick fish, and slop craw...
2) strike king, specifically the rodent, dreamshot, rage craw, rage chunk, and the shimmy stick...
3) yum, specifically the mighty bug, dinger, wooley bully, and the shakelicious...
i use other brands as well like net bait, LFT, BYCB, big bites, zoom, and missile, but the ones up top get the most love from me...

For the last couple years about 80% of what I use I make myself, so I am pretty partially to that brand. lol I still buy crankbaits/jerkbaits/hard swimbaits and have settled on Strike King for the most part. Spro frogs, Super Spooks and Zell Pops fill the topwater box. About the only plastics I still buy are BPS Tender Tubes.
