In your opinion what is your favorite spinning rod brand. I'll need it in med or med heavy. Either 6" or 6'6. Fast action.
Something longer than 6'6.
A 6'8MXF or 6'10MXF is very versatile.
Med-Heavy 7 foot rod. Versatile.
7 m/f
No I mean brand
Brands are subjective
I'd pull the trigger on a Rod built here in the USA, St. Croix.. Certain loomis, NFC, if you really want something special? Have a Rod built. Of course it all comes back to you, money and you're need.
Kistler
Falcon
Plenty of Rod company's right here in good ole USA!
St croix avid 6'8" mxf is my favorite that I've used. I've got my eyes on the 6'6" mh legend elite tho
A 2 peice 6 ft uglystik gx2 with a 30 size spinning reel ,3 spare spools ,2 with braid 10lb and. 30 lb and 1 with 6 lb yo zuri
Lol, best brands... You're going to get every different rod company out there. It will wind up being a popularity contest, especially if you don't give a price range, and even still it will be a popularity contest. That doesn't mean the rods aren't good, they usually are, but again, without giving a price you're going to get everywhere from 50-500$ rods. With that said my favorite is a Dobyns champ extreme.

That's a great rod!
Avid 6'8" MXF for me too.
Very subjective topic... but for me it's a Dobyns Savvy Micro Guide 7'0" Medium Spinning Rod SSM 703 SF or a St. Croix Premier PS66MF 6'6" Fishing Rod.
The St. Croix 6'-8" MXF is a great rod. Also t he 6'-3" Avid is nice, especially topwaters and jerkbaits. In the Loomis line, the SJR722 is hard to beat.
I have a couple avids and they are great rods.
I the Croix 6'8" MXF is a great rod. If your budget allows the NRX 822S or 852S are fantastic.
The best rod out there? The one you think is the most comfortable in your hands and the one that you like. What suits someone else may not suit you. That's like expectlng someone else's pants to fit you perfectly and feel comfortable.
Go find youself a Crucial on sale, if value is a priority.
To me the Phenix M1 m/xf is a premium rod right up there with the most popular ones on here.

St.Croix or G.Loomis. If you want cheap but Ugly Stik just came out with a new rod in Icast called the ugly stik elite. It has alot of graphite in it but still bulletproof
Well when I got back into fishing I went mostly with baitcast gear. Previous gear was all spinning, but the best rod I owned at that time was a Berkley Lightning. Still have it and still like it. My spinning rod selections since have been very limited. I have become a fan of Fenwick rods....both in casting and spinning. Excellent rods for the money. That is the company I would be looking at if I were going to be spending less than $150.
I too have to say, the 6'8" MH X-fast is a sweet rod. One of the best bangs for the buck around.
St. CROIX legend extreme.
So many votes for St Croix, who am I to disagree,,, they make many great rods, and I love my 6'8 and 6'3 MXF rods. If I only had one it would be 6'6" to 7', if you got the money, Legend Elite, a little less is the Avid, and I have said many times this is the best rod for the money today in my opinion. If your on a budget the Premier is very light and sensitive and available in a power and action for anything you are likely to peruse!! But don't buy one if you don't want to buy more!!!
NRX 852s

Yep !
For me there is only 1, it's a rod that casts like the wind, a med spinning has the backbone to handle 30# fish, cork looks as good as the day I bought it, which was nearly 10 years ago. I have 7 of them, 2 boat rods, 4 inshore and a light action I use for bass fishing. That's a Hurricane Redbone, may not be the "best" rod but it sure is my favorite by far. These rods have never failed me. A portion of the price is donated to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation, which is plus for me.
I picked up a powell diesel on sale from TW. Ive gotta say, I like It a lot
