MADE OUT OF STURDY TIGHT WEAVE NYLON. WIDE IN WIDTH MAKES IT STABLE ON WAIST AND EASY TO ADJUST AND TIGHTEN OR LOOSEN. FEELS REAL GOOD AT A REASONABLE COST. BUCKLE IS STURDY AND DOES NOT SEEM TO DAMAGE THE WADERS IN ANY WAY. I LIKE IT!
