This is so cool. This heat sealer can seal potato chip bags and other bags, eliminating the need for storage bags. The food can be sealed in it’s original bag, eliminating waste and cost. So cool!

Sparky ???? : Quick and easy sealer ????

I use the 8" and the large 16" but there are times I wish I had something in between so ended up getting this 12" and have been using this size more so than others. I would say the 12" gets used 75% of the time and 8" for the rest. It's rare now to use the 16" as yes, one can use the 16" for all smaller sizes but it's a waste for the heating coil and do not want to wear it out prematurely.

The heat setting I use are around 5-6 for most bags. Simply slide the bag after it's been filled, press down the arm, and the heat/power melts the ends shut. Too high of heating and it will just melt off and don't get a good seal so even if you've never used this, it'll only take a few tries to really set it and forget it ????

This is a really well constructed heat sealer and at 8-inches, it meets all my heat seal needs. I was introduced to a larger unit, but sure appreciate the compactness of this machine. I seal product from my leather crafting and this sealer handles various gauge bags. The seal gage works will for these variations. I also like that it is portable so I can move it between work areas.
